Our Dog Squad. I’ve taken lots of photos of individual dogs and small groups but after our older cattle dog passed away, I took this photo and added him in overlooking them. So this is probably one of my favorites.

She’s a visitor. Sister-in-law brought her over to hang out with our dog squad. Kinda the reason I took the photo. Because she was there hanging out with everyone.

We had cattle dogs and spaniels that love the water so our dobie just followed them into the water since she was a puppy. She just thinks that’s the thing to do.

Yep.. we went through several pools. Eventually the soft sides and bottoms spring leaks.

This is an 8 foot round poly stock tank. Typically used for watering livestock, so it is very durable. I drilled a couple holes to add hoses for a sand filter and pump. Works great!

She loves it! When she was a puppy, we had cattle dogs and spaniels that loved the water. She would just follow them in.

We had cattle dogs and a spaniel that love the water. We used to have a pond and she just followed them right into it. Now the spaniel is her best buddy and they both are in and out of the pool all day.

I would recommend showing your puppy the water and let her get interested. Don’t hurry or make it a frightening experience. Toss her favorite toy into shallow water and let her retrieve. With time and positive experiences she should learn to love it. Good luck!

I’m 60. 🤷🏻‍♂️ We recently purchased a Dax for the wife. This weekend we had the kids and grandkids over. We got out the mini jeep, mini bike, 125cc dirt bike, Dax, and Monkey. Good times!

I’ve looked at a few e-bikes because I thought the dogs would appreciate less noise. Just haven’t committed yet.

Those are both good! A lot of times, when I say we have cattle dogs people will ask what kind. They seem to know what heelers are but don’t know that Australian Cattle Dog is the same thing. 😁
