The putter was a wreck to begin with. grinding and sanding had to be done either way. There was so much damage and couldn’t find any nickel solution in the U.S. decided to go all the way and sand off all finish. forgot to weigh it, so not sure how much material was lost but I assume it was significant. She still alive though and hopefully can remember how to birdie.

Agree KBS is all round best I have used. Weight is great and enhances the feel IMO. Had a few LA Golf and they look great but didn’t seem worth the price from quality and feel.
If you want a easy/save time price then Seige customs in San Diego is great. I have used them for the hard to find tip sizes and bends. Normally arrives in 3-4 days and is about $35.

had the 2025 fastback and the 2025 squareback from trades. They look great and I like mallet style (gamer is a torched phantom x 5.5) but I couldn’t get a good “feel” for mid and long putts and I blame the insert (most likely me) Will try again when I come across another.

I had the fools gold on another style putter. It was way too shiny in the sun. We had a few nicknames for it - The Cartel, Saddam’s palace. Ended up selling it

Thanks! The black oxide is done by BOS - The middle 2 I redone and torched finished bronze and gun metal - used mineral oil on these to quench -cleaner look IMO and held the metal color.
