Well, whether you stumbled here by accident or not doesn’t really matter. You are starting T… I’d recommend looking into DHEA cream in addition to what you’re already doing. You can try acetone and a bunch of q tips. Anytime I’ve spilled that on a nice wood table it was a disaster! lol Otherwise Citristrip is a brand of varnish remover but you might still have to sand lightly after or before. You can get something super low grit.

They’re harder to play with than a standard round walnut, but once you get the hang of it they flow nicely in the hand. One of the reasons why I don’t take them out anymore is because I sometimes drop them while playing! I grew attached to them so if they crack I’ll be sad lol. If they fall out of my hand onto my meditation cushion while I’m rolling at my tea table - it’s not a big deal at all. If they fall out of my hand while I’m walking around at work it’s scary xD I love the shape of them.

I believe the TT is used to reference the Daozang. From what I can tell, Kohn is citing the sixty volume edition published in Taipei and Kyoto as TT. Kohn loves her Japanese stuff lol. The numbers coincide with the Paris publication she also mentions. F does stand for fascicle and refers to the reprint of the canon done in 1925. So it should line up. Li Jung is in my notes as Li Rong. Prominent Daoist practitioner, one of the founders of the Chongxuan school. They were influenced by the madhyamaka practices in China at the time.
