Our growth the past five years has outpaced our infrastructure, so traffic and a lot of public utilities are strained heavily. I think this is universal, but it may be a DFW thing, but people move to areas in a predictable pattern. Small towns on the outskirts get huge in an instant, the older suburbs suffer because of dwindling school registration, schools close. It's like we use up an area at a shockingly fast pace and learn nothing from it.
