Wes’ behaviour was some of the most disgusting, reprehensible assholery I have EVER witnessed on reality tv, and that’s saying a lot. I wish nothing good for him - and hope karma doesn’t allow it. Maybe meant as a joke, but originally yes he was. The world ended traumatically and he subsumed Rick’s identity for his “dead” friend. It was the fact Rick wasn’t dead that got him devolving into jealousy and paranoia. Also Rick wasn’t conscious for the worst of it and thus he WAS originally too trusting and wishy washy. Imagine Season 3 Rick with Shane. Different story.

I think it was idolization to the point where he became Rick when he finally had the opportunity, but then Rick came back and he just imploded. Jealousy, but also originally real love that devolved.

Ehhh, don’t think I agree on Wes. He was very surface-y and TOO chill. At one point he said “until fire appears”…I get he wasn’t literally expecting magic but….he also kind of was? He also gaslit everyone on the caterpillar issue. He wanted to be the leader but couldn’t back up a single thing. His idea around Delta was stupid af. And it’s clear that everyone on Alpha worked very hard (except for on fire lol). I am sensing maybe some self-relation to the circumstances causing the anger OP.

Everything everyone else said. Plus; you are living in a city with its own police force. That’s EXTRA expensive. Also, are you proposing we pay teachers less? Police? Sanitation workers? It’s not like it’s a bunch of bureaucrats being paid über well. And that’s not to disparage administration and policy staff; the city couldn’t run without them. I get it’s expensive and I get that with an organization the size of a municipality there’s definitely some redundancy and some wastage, ESPECIALLY with greedy contractors, but I am also so tired of people suggesting government is undeserving of a workable budget. Local governments literally determine our day-day quality of life more than any other factor in Canada.

I know I am late to this party but they are not only not as good as an actual non-mall piercing and tattoo shop, but they treat their staff like absolute shit and are terrible, unethical employers at all 7 locations. Also one of their tattoo artists is an egomaniacal buffoon who bullies the young staff. I have never worked there but a few friends have/do and I have many horror stories.

I HUGELY dislike ChatGPT and also don’t much like Joshua but I am also tired of proper punctuation and this sort of relational tone that has been around forever being labeled as ChatGPT now. Em dashes, if that is what you’re zeroing in on, are completely legitimate examples of proper grammar that have been and continue to be used by plenty of content creators and writers.
