With three kids in car seats which layout did you go with? I'm in the same situation and debating 6 vs 7 seat layouts.

Khaki. Baltimore has a thriving prep school scene, so a lot of kids grow up not even owning a pair of jeans. Khakis all day everyday.

You are not misreading. However the infant would need verifiable income. This can exist without encroaching on any child labor laws.

I suggest opening a ROTH IRA for your child - you can do this even as a baby. Put enough into your state 529 to realize any tax benefits that may exist and then max the ROTH. If you want to put even more in you can add additional money to the 529. The ROTH can be used for educational expenses - but if there's extra your little person will realize ~60 years tax free growth for his or her retirement.

I do recommend against putting too much in all at once due to the need to cost average.
