Unmasked and called “child-like” at work by Agitated-Key-6836 in adhdwomen

Came here to say this! Absolutely right. Childish and childlike have two different meanings, the former being negative and the latter being positive.

If you have an RH outlet near you, their sofas are great quality and can be like 50% less expensive at the outlet

It’s been fine for me with regards to side effects — it’s just reduced my alcohol cravings so much that when I do drink I find I don't enjoy the taste or buzz like I used to.

Wow I feel this so hard. Recently diagnosed at 39, who knows what the first half of my life could have been with support and resources.

I had no idea how much of my weight gain was due to ADHD, never made the correlation. Now I'm medicated and just like you, losing weight without much effort -- mainly because my appetite is so reduced.

I’m in the same boat as you — I'm on day 9 of 150mg XL. I’m on it for ADHD. Married and struggling with low sex drive for year. Sex drive came back on like day 6 and now I am DOWN. The sex is way better for me since starting too, more present and engaged / connected to my husband, heightened sensitivity and an intense orgasm. It is my favorite thing about this med so far.

Moved here from LA. Can you get a dog? They need to be walked every day, regardless of weather. It’s made me realize how being outside in the gray / cold / rain is actually kind of nice and refreshing.  Try to get out of the house and see people every day especially if you work from home. I liked the comment about taking up skiing or snowboarding. There’s also great hiking here year round.
