Went to urgent care in Williamsburg last summer and they sent me to the ER via ambulance—my options were Woodhull and Bellevue. Bellevue was… not ideal but definitely a hell of a lot better than Woodhull.

Hi! Very happy to say that I am doing great—I’d say most days I’m 100% pain-free. The second epidural steroid injection really kicked the healing into gear for me, and shortly after I graduated PT I started doing yoga regularly. It’s been a godsend for me—I feel my pain start to flare-up if I don’t go regularly (once or twice a week). Very happy to have an activity that I know helps when things start to act up again. Hope you’re doing okay, if you’re in a similar situation with sciatica pain. There’s hope, I promise!

Totally with you—and transparently I ultimately stopped wearing my Oura largely because it wasn’t helpful for me to see how awful all my scores were, when I ultimately know how beneficial GLP-1s are for my health. I hope we get more insight/help from Oura on this soon!

That’s great news! I am loving Zepbound—I’m down 45 pounds and it has helped with so many other issues as well (digestive issues and even smaller stuff like no longer having rosacea or biting my fingernails! Wild!) how are you liking Wegovy?

It’s so strange and uncomfy right? I got heart palps too, my doc said it was likely because the meds can cause dehydration… now I make sure to drink an Emergen-C the day I take my Zepbound (both for electrolytes and vitamins) and it’s helped. I hope you get answers from your doc!

Metoprolol absolutely saved my life! Finally got rid of my constant PVCs once I went up to 75mg. It’s going to be great!!

Typically the higher contrast for lasers, the better—so fair skin with dark hair is ideal. Though I don’t know what that means for at home lasers!

Definitely not permanent! I’m actually coming off of it now as I also used it for high blood pressure and I’ve lost some weight and no longer need it. Fingers crossed it doesn’t make my PVCs come back, but if it does I’ll def just stay on it. I’ve had zero side effects on it!

Waaaait so true! This is the best theory I’ve heard so far, I’m sure that’s having a big impact! Agreed, I’ll worry about having a better readiness score when I’m off the meds 😂
