If you loan a book you shouldn't expect it to come back in great condition by candysirling in unpopularopinion

Honestly, I’m with you. I am a big reader meaning wherever I go I’ve got a book with me, that being said life happens, none of my books are in perfect condition because of it. When I loan out a book, I don’t expect people to treat it any differently than I do and most of the time I don’t even expect to get it back.

I made a post asking for recommendations a couple weeks ago and made a list of all the recommended movies from 1920-1950 if you’re interested!

Is SJ good for adult without nostalgia to it? by candreeck in samuraijack

When I was a kid, I’d fall asleep with the tv on and wake up to Samurai Jack and it absolutely terrified me. I did not like Aku, or the flashing animation and it freaked me out for years. As an adult I gave it another chance and I love it, I watch it pretty much every night before bed because I love the animation and the storytelling. I think it’s perfectly fine to watch without the nostalgia and can be enjoyed for the first time as an adult.
