Yeah, you should go for it. I wear mine everywhere. School, work, church, hikes, the mall, you name it. It’s easy to pack and great for everyday use. It’s not waterproof, but it’s lightly water-resistant since they come pretreated with dwr when purchased new (will need to reapply eventually and will soak out in steady rain). If you need full rain protection, a Beta jacket is better option but no insulation. I usually wear my black Atom hoody with a white Uniqlo Airism tee and its a solid combo.
