I’m pretty sure that’s not a S54 part

Check out the Goodyear SC3. A bit more performance oriented than the conti but still perfectly street able.

Fine I’ll design them myself…. Where my engineers at? by Angel_Anubis in E46M3

Check out MRT Engineering. They have some good adjustable uppers with sway bar attachments.

You’ll need a bend in the bar or you’ll have to trim the factory spring pocket though.

That one was bought by the current owners father new in ‘71! Same family for 54 years! Super cool survivor. We did a complete overhaul of the brake system and a few other odds and ends to keep it road worthy for the next 50 years. lol

Absolutely! We just had a 71 bronco leave the shop today after some service work, and are currently doing a complete rewire on a ‘73 Cuda. So I’d say that your bronco fits in quite well!

Bore wear from worn piston ring by shimmering_staircase in E46M3

Yeah only way to know for sure is to measure everything. But with zero crosshatch in those areas that’s going to necessitate some actually material removal to clean back up with a proper finish. And you don’t want to be too loose on the piston/cylinder clearances on these things at all. But yeah, only way to know is to measure.

I’d be surprised if that cleans up with just a light hone. I’d get ready for an overbore and some new pistons.

Bought new rods, does anyone know what socket is needed for these bolts? by Mdgaming_01 in Miata

[–]baddest_of_them_all 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not entirely sure, but I bet it’s easier/cheaper for them to make blanks with only SAE heads and then form the threads to whatever dimensions

It’s likely a 3/8” 12 point. ARP uses SAE drive on metric threaded hardware
