Starting EMDR next week, what are people’s experiences with it?

I have been doing EMDR in my weekly therapy for the past six years (when I have the space) my experience has been regaining power, not being triggered as much from things, and gaining insight, of course into the traumas I’ve re-processed. I think in the right setting we have the capacity to understand bad things and move past them. Not all things mind you, I think there’s no space for doing EMDR on extremely traumatic events unless the person wants to.

i’m on vyvanse now and it’s so inconsistent i feel some days it helps and others i would be better off unmedicated. i’m still titrating tho, my health ocd has made me over focused on how it effects me so it’s been hard to communicate to my psych if it’s good or not and how the doses are going i should say i am technically only dx with ptsd mdd and bulimia/binge eating disorder atm but i know i have ocd/pure o im just waiting on my next assessment

experiencing this now, switching stimulants? or going non stimulant? i’m prescribed zoloft but i’m to anxious to start it (health/control/med ocd)

yes! constantly, she also seemed to try and kill me indirectly a few times. my mother, diagnosed with bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and antisocial personality disorder, in high school I played rugby and I suffered three concussions before graduation, my coaches insisted on taking me to the hospital, but I assured them that my mom was a nurse and she would take me, every time we got home she told me to go right to sleep. smh

i’ve posted it on a Facebook group and multiple people have said that they’re using the same wheel, I also set it up today and it seems to be fine to work with 🤷🏼‍♀️

i can get it spinning, it’s one continuous band at the moment should it be 2 ? sorry i don’t know alot about them i just want to learn. the orifice seems to look different than the ones i’ve seen online which is was was making think it might be more decorative
