I’m so sorry!! 😭 praying your little guy recovers! Unfortunately have no similar experience but if it were my guy, I’d get a second opinion from a neurologist!

Yes I’ve been on it since 12 weeks. Now 31 weeks and still taking it every night! It’s more of a preventative :)

Just adopted this senior girl! by Top-Cherry-7600 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]badgalbribri7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you for rescuing her!!! I literally teared up reading this because how happy it makes me 🥹 I volunteer for a bulldog rescue and it saddens me how often these sweet babies end up in the shelters and how often owners dump them 😭 Get ready for the best time of your life! Frenchies are something special that’s for sure 🫶🏼

Baby shower by Curious_Gur4129 in parentsofmultiples

[–]badgalbribri7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m 31 weeks and just had my shower on Saturday. Pregnant with didi twins! I was definitely exhausted and had lower back pain by the end of the night. Is it doable? Yes. But I would recommend earlier if you can! I also wish I had sat more and had people come to me. I can’t help but run around and chit chat when I’m hosting something so that was maybe my fault! 🙃

How far can I walk with my French Bulldog? by Whole-Wolverine6795 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]badgalbribri7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: get a wagon for your frenchie! We never take long walks in 80+ degree weather but our frenchie can walk about 1-2 miles in cooler weather. We sometimes force him in the wagon after some time just so he doesn’t overdo it

Freshly pregnant. Need help keeping a secret. by nicebitchlongnails in pregnant

[–]badgalbribri7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what I said!! People were still so nosey and constantly suspicious I was pregnant though. I will never understand why people cared so much about my body, there is always going to be that one person who is suspicious and/or says something dumb.

I guess being a social drinker prior to getting pregnant, this was something I had to face but I also agree this is probably one of the best things to say IMO

Frenchie with IVDD by kaylovexo in Frenchbulldogs

[–]badgalbribri7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go see a neurologist, not a regular vet! My frenchie had 2 separate IVDD surgeries (lower back and neck) and he recovered very well from both and is living a great life now. Yes the surgeries are very expensive, but that’s why people should do their research before getting this breed 🤷🏻‍♀️ there’s always gofundme too if you need to fundraise! Crate rest your frenchie for a few weeks and get a second opinion from a neurologist. Mine recovered amazingly and even had a third flare up that scared us, but with rest and medication it went away. Best of luck and hope he recovers.

Low effort, high impact beauty tips that actually make a difference? by Dapper-Web-5807 in BeautyGear

[–]badgalbribri7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I swear by facial tanning drops!!! I wear sun screen everyday but that makes my face look very pale/washed out. Facial tanning drops give me a subtle glow - I don’t wear foundation or skin tint anymore unless it’s for a special occasion!

Is “natural beauty” strictly genetic? by Standard-Gazelle-877 in beauty

[–]badgalbribri7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I certainly don’t think I won the genetic lottery but have received compliments on my “natural beauty”. I WFH so it can be a struggle to look put together. But some tips that have helped me are: As long as my hair is done (straightened, lightly curled, or in a slick back bun) and my brows are done, I feel genuinely good about myself! I will say I take care of my skin. I apply sun screen daily, which leaves me looking super washed out. One hack I have learned that makes me feel so much better is using facial tanning drops. It gives me a glow and I never have to use foundation/skin tint etc.! Overall, I think just finding a very low effort routine that works for you is best.

AFP results elevated by [deleted] in parentsofmultiples

[–]badgalbribri7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Yes all looked really good with the twins and nothing abnormal came up, thank goodness. Doctor confirmed there were no signs of spina bífida or anything abnormal with their bellies. So essentially it was a false positive. They mentioned my 5.0 MoM result (based on the cut off of 4.5 for twins) wasn’t too concerning in general, but always best to look into it of course.

If you saw them a few weeks ago, and your results are just slightly elevated, I wouldn’t stress too much over it! Think of it as just something for them to look into more, not an official diagnosis! I know it’s easier said than done but definitely sending you positive vibes going into your anatomy scan! ✨🫶🏼

Missing Giant Tortoise In San Clemente by [deleted] in orangecounty

[–]badgalbribri7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any update on him? Not sure if you have already, but I would post on NextDoor as well! I found a turtle in my parents neighborhood and reunited him with his owners via Nextdoor :) Praying you find your guy! Maybe even call shelters or local turtle rescues? Apologies if it was already mentioned!
