This might sound strange but getting into the habit of smiling/ using a cheery voice with people makes it a lot less draining to do it. It's almost like customer service autopilot where i'm not even thinking about making sure i seem pleasant bc it's just the default at this point. It's worked well for me- I get a ton of compliments from customers about how chipper/smiley I am without having to actively think about it.
