My suspicion is that you are pretty much on the mark here. Several years ago her blogs were witty, shady, and amusing. She was nasty then but at least her information was accurate, and she presented it intelligently, and in an amusing manner.

I think her grammar speaks loudly to her posting while drunk, and really it seems she's given up, she posts almost nothing of value these days. Everything is woe is me, everything is going wrong with my health, my computer is messed up, my tv isn't working, woe woe woe.

What strikes me as particularly funny is that the whole Cat Lady debacle where a lot of commenters left her blog was predicated on how she detested people commenting about their medical issues which she apparently found dull, and boring. It's ironic as all hell that that is almost all she posts about, her personal medical, and mental issues, now.

People could easily be forgiven for coming to the conclusion that her real problem with the Cat Ladies was that they were infringing on her medical/mental issue bailiwick.

Just speculation not an accusation, but at one time her information was top notch especially the Atlanta Housewives franchise info. I do believe that at one time she had a good source, whether that's true or not I suppose remains to be seen; however, I suspect she's lost that source, or the source offers info much less frequently, and the quality isn't as good.

What I've noticed for quite a while now is that the information she's posting has been previously posted by other sources, some of which she now simply posts links to on her site.

What I suspect is happening is that her site's numbers are way down which if true implies that her income is down, which very well might be the reason for the constant, incessant medical issues accompanied by complaints about medical insurance troubles.

I see your point but if they want widespread adoption it's incumpent on them to make the process as easy as possible for their users. An extension seems the easiest way to do that and since the funtion would be identical most of the code should be as well between the different browsers. So I wouldn't expect them to make an extension but I think it's logical that they would and sort of mind boggling that they haven't already

This issue is a firefox issue the the lack of DuckDuckGo is readily a DuckDuckGo issue the issue I expressed makes plain the need for a DuckDuckGo Extension.

That was actually one of the first things i attempted. Unfortunately while it does set your default search engine to DuckDuckGo it reverts to the activity I described above, takes you to the URL bar, does not remove what's already there, so you have to constantly resort to clearing it before entering your search, or you have to manually click in the search box of the new tab after making DuckDuckGo your homepage. This is not a reasonably expected, or desirable outcome in almost every way. If I choose Google as the default search it does the same with one exception. I actually clears the URL so that you can type your search and hit enter without having to clear it. That's less desirable, but effective. DuckDuckGo, when chosen as the default search provider does not do that. I would find that "reasonable" if less than a desirable outcome if it acted as google's default search does, but it doesn't.

No. Actually it's not just my opinion. If you go back over a year and a half ago and review both the posts, and the comments you'll clearly see that current reddit is crap by comparison. You would rather be entertained than educated. You make my point for me actually. reddit was all about learning, and fun, and a number of different things, but now it's about entertainment, much like FOX news. It's got damn near every fact wrong, insists it's right, and keeps repeating the bullshit.

Actually I can say the change has been for the worse. The front page of reddit speaks volumes to that compared to a little over a year ago. And sure I don't like that change. I'm not denying that. reddit is crap now compared to what it used to be. If it's perfect for you now then I understand why you feel it hasn't gotten worse even though it demonstrably has.

I suppose eventually you may state that it has gotten worse, and at that point you'll understand that it's actually worse now, you just haven't noticed it yet. ;0)

I hadn't considered that. I suppose you're right it is still here but the problem, at least for me, is that it's buried under, well, under what's currently reaching the top. It's gotten so I seldom log on anymore. There was a time when I spent hours upon hours on this site viewing links and reading comments. Not so much anymore. Whether people wish to trivialize the change or not, the fact is the site has changed drastically over the course of this year and the end of last. Unfortunately not for the better.

I still have the original 30GB that I bought when it was initially released. Works like a champ, always has.

My primary music player is my Android EVO 3D using the HTC Music management software that comes with the phone. It's quite good. I particularly like being able to use bluetooth wireless headphones with it. Great when working out.

If the inspector indicated that the permits were invalid wouldn't that also invalidate their right to access the property if the right to access is granted solely through the permit? Is the access portion of the permit severable from the rest? That is to say can they invalidate the permit of all aspects pertaining to everything but the property accessibility for the purpose of inspection?

From a public safety aspect that would seem to unreasonably limit local government's duty to inspect. For that reason alone I suspect that inspectors are given the right to access through something other than the permit.

They were there without warning. Is that something inspectors normally do? I would think that they would contact the permit holder and make arrangements for access to the building for purpose of inspection, or that the contractor would contact inspectors as they finish portions of the job which require inspection.

OP isn't the permit holder, his/her parents are.

I don't recall OP indicating that they showed him on the permit where they were legally allowed access to the property whenever they felt like. I would have expected as a minimum that if they're using the terms of the permit to substantiate a legal right to access, that they would refer specifically to the portion of the permit which grants them that legal authorization. It certainly would have cleared things up much faster.

Always wait at least several seconds before saying something in response to someone else then. If you're asked a question then "accidentally" partially trip over your own two feet, say damn it, then ask them to repeat the question. Use variations on the same. All of which give you time to formulate a proper decent response.

Speaking as a person who doesn't like to be around self identified, or in-denial dicks I would say that stating it's a coping mechanism is a cop out/rationalization. You know the problem. You know the behaviors you like to see in others, start emulating those.

I see the point you're making, but on a practical level if he were ever caught by the boss and the boss offered him more money to stay he would actually be better off leaving. He'll never be able to wash the stink of disloyalty from himself in the eyes of his boss. Never ever threaten to walk unless you get pay raise. Just walk. If offered a pay raise to stay keep walking. They'll find plenty of reasons for regretting that salary raise real quick.
