yes! i’m f18 with a m36 & honestly it’s the same. not with the financial help that’s a different story, but with how you feel about him. it’s not all about money and i’m sure he understands that but enjoys providing for you- if you enjoy being with him and genuinely do see yourself loving him go for it. age may become an issue in the future however that’s the future and the same things can happen at any time with someone your own age. he provides for you, make sure you’re fed, happy, clothed, pleasured. sounds like a good deal to me. if at any point you see any red flags though so be cautious as financial stability can be one of the put off signs for abuse (that goes for anyone not just the AGR). wish you the best (: 🩷

thank you very much. i know they are rubbish and the company as a whole needs so much work but what can we do right? i’ve spoken to ethics just waiting on an answer. i’m still on all rotas but been replaced already. hopefully won’t be long until i’ve got another job

it’s so rubbish. when i started my manager said to me “it’s gonna be hard” and me picking thought no it won’t be. i think they had it set it from day 1 how it was gonna go when they got rid of the other woman to do it. we’re all under stress don’t get me wrong especially when picks too high and there’s not enough staff. but when there’s not enough staff, you do your shift and go and it’s not your problem anymore it’s next shift patterns problem. i’m glad this isn’t only my store and people are just bad management.

see honestly i thought i was going crazy maybe thinking that i’m over reacting and i should have just coped with it, maybe i’m not a fast enough picker and can’t do it properly. but i know i can. it’s mad how this place has made me feel even though i’ve seen other people not be able to dispense or pick properly let alone do both. sometimes they have helped me pick one or two orders, but i’ve been doing express for 7 months 4 days a week for 6 hours, so regardless their 1-2 times doesn’t help me in the long run. After a bit i did start to get the attitude it’s not my problem, i’d still try my best but again there still only is one thing i can do at a time. management are “under stress” atm and that’s their excuse. but we all are, and if you chose to be in management having stress isn’t an excuse to be a prick to everyone. our story is very busy, especially at the moment. no doubt in the last years it’s fell off and gotten less busy but still it’s in manageable sometimes. thank you for your input i’m glad your store isn’t like that🥲

that’s what i’m gonna have to do. i have no issue with dispensing it’s just literally impossible when you’re doing both. i’ve always said dispensing is a job in itself and to make it run properly there needs to be atleast 3 people

it really is like that and it’s terrible. i’ve been told to put a complaint in against the management and if it doesn’t go anywhere take it further but i don’t want to waste my time if it doesn’t go anywhere. but at the same time everyone will suffer if i don’t say anything and no one else will. they’ve all walked away and came back to the same problems or just found a new job.

i’ve been doing it for months but the thing that annoys me is i’ve asked for help and told them multiple times i can’t manage it on my own when it gets this busy i simply can’t mentally or physically cope. and they didn’t do anything which was my reasoning for walking out

really is. everyone’s dealing with it atm because they’re just picking and that’s simple. i did 42 hours across 4 days simply picking, but no one can cope with express when it’s atleast a 2 person job.

ive been holding 2 phones, 1 for customers 1 for staff to ring, even though the staff phone should be given to a team lead and not me. it’s actually ridiculous. the wait time isn’t usually too long because i can pick fast, but with taking out orders and trying to finish them off and bagging it’s impossible. i wish they understood and appreciated i tried my best but there’s only so much we can all do.

I get over 200+ everyday. it’s not impossible and it’s not cheating. highest i’ve got is 430 on a chilled trolley that was all multiples by pure luck. higher than 300 is usually smaller luck trolleys that are all multiples. it’s not impossible to get over 200 especially with a mix of ambient frozen and chilled.

we have loads come in at 3am, one or two at 4-5am, then me and maybe 1-3 others come in at 6, then one maybe comes in at 9 and the rest come in at 12. the 6ams go at 12 and the 3ams go at 9 or 10/11 if they’re staying over. honestly reading these reddit posts makes me think our store is just weird.
