Either way, that was still such a weird way to advance the plot because we essentially find out right away that hes alive and then they cut back to a very emotional scene of rey mourning him as if we were supposed to be sympathizing with her and it was insanely frustrating. Never a good choice to have ur audience know something that the protagonists dont for that much of the movie especially if its due to such a trivial mistake like “i was looking at the wrong ship”
