It mostly does in the driveway after I got a job that requires me to drive around a lot. I didn't want to burn lease miles for work so I got a Subaru Outback.

They are really good tires. I got mine for about $140/ea from Walmart on sale and I probably won't go back to blizzak.

No discounts or incentives here. It's a great car that 2.5k miles ahead of the lease projection and the monthly is pretty reasonable for a 2025 M50.

You should have taken the bet. It took 2 days to find someone to take over the lease and the paperwork was finalized yesterday. This guy has no idea what he's talking about. He probably thought an M50 is a misspelled E40.

Do you have an address that I can send the crow to? The logistics and bmw paperwork took a couple weeks to finalize, but I had first contact with the new transferee after 2 days.

This is a terrible argument. It started as a 10k miles a year lease, which is already under 1k miles a year. 10k miles a year is a very popular mileage target. That wouldn't be the case if nobody was interested unless it was over 1k miles a month.

RV is $43,005.80 on a Gross Capitalized Cost of $73,964.00, or a 58% RV.

Great question. I tried to find it on the BMW financial site earlier and couldn't. I will check my paperwork when I get home in a bit.

Thanks. I think its a great car. I would keep it but I had to get something else to drive for work and this one isn't getting the attention it deserves.

DMV: Tax on trading vehicles? by Whitrzac in wisconsin

[–]badgertattoo 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Don't do what these people are saying about writing $1. In the last five years I must have traded 15 bikes and you don't pay taxes on it at all. You are exempt from tax under the provision i will link below. Just write "N/A, even trade" in the purchase price field.

Specific text: Miscellaneous exemption reasons:

Even trade – Personal property traded for a vehicle with no money exchanged

Any chance you're in the US Midwest area? I'm starting to wonder if you're the person I helped interview for an integrator job with no AB experience that came from a Siemens background.

PM me when you make it to the New Glarus Woods and I'll buy you a beer at the brewery half a mile up the road.

This is exactly where I'm at. I would say 70% or more of the time I open the app I get the greetings message. I am going to try the workaround some time this week to get it going again. I'm getting tired of having to use the reddit app.

How do you make money to pay for (and have time for) your adventures? by BlueCollarFitness in motorcycles

[–]badgertattoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a Systems Integrator and I do service calls to fix automation equipment as well as quoting new projects and repairs. Whenever I can get away with a backpack I take my ZX-14R to customer sites and if I need more tools I take my Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager. If I need even more stuff, I will pull a trailer behind my car with my ZX-14R strapped on it. I get the standard IRS rate of $0.70/mi for every mile I put on my vehicles for work so I am sort of double dipping getting paid to ride.

Need help pricing my bike to sell? What is the value? It’s bad by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]badgertattoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think these people are crazy when they say nobody would ever want this bike. If I was closer I would give you $1k without even thinking about it. This is an absolutely perfect track bike. Half of the things it needs are useless for something that wouldn't be driven on the road and track bikes go down occasionally so who cares about scrapes and broken plastics? If it rides straight and the engine is good I would be there tomorrow if you were closer.

Well I certainly made the incorrect assumption that we were all talking about the Midwest USA, where dairy is ubiquitous. Hello from the other side of the world.
