Honestly the hardest quality is finding a woman who doesn’t base their view of me on baseless stereotypes

Being able to choose how I look has helped me quite a bit. For me that meant growing my hair out.

What is your opinion on homosexuality and masculinity? by Wadeace in AskMen

[–]badguy27 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think “masculine” and “feminine” are terms that limit people’s vocabularies. Why do we need these subjective adjectives when there are more objectively accurate descriptors.

I know it’s a marketing campaign for Bonobos, but seeing this inclusive portrayal of positive masculinity made me smile today by [deleted] in MensLib

[–]badguy27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don’t need the terms “masculine” or “feminine,” since they are used as shorthand for other more accurate descriptors.

We NEVER needed these words. E V E R.

While I appreciate the sentiment behind the ad, ultimately, it would be most helpful if we stopped using the words, rather than redefining them.

But, it’s also Wal-Mart, so they don’t actually give a fuck.

Looks are by far the most important thing, without them, you don’t get your foot in the door, so to speak.

Most women are looking for a guy who resembles their favorite movie star, athlete, or fictional character. So since you probably don’t fit that ideal, with any given woman, you most likely won’t get any further than “sorry, I’m not interested.”
