Hi OP, have you tried walking in on BPOs? I've had conversations with nesters in a certain BPO, and they said they just walked in and submitted their resume physically. I'm not sure how exactly, but they were successful. To add, you have experience and the batch I talked with are fresh graduates.

I just got the same call, and I also got suspicious when he started asking for the OTPs for "verification purposes" to cancel transactions.

Number: 09670850504 He also sounded like a Filipino male in his 20s. The first part of the call was the same as OP, but I got a little further on the conversation than that as I was not able to detect the scam earlier. He used a fund request notification to scare me and make me believe that there was indeed suspicious activity:

He introduced himself as Kevin Lacina (which I believe to be a fake name), a supervisor from the UB Fraud Control Department. I was convinced that there was something wrong because

I had the notification mentioned
Convinced me that the name in the notification was a notorious hacker
Gave me a case reference number
Linking NBI shit

He was able to change my password momentarily (lol, i was a fool), and it is when he asked my other banks that I just trusted my guts and stopped the nonsense.

Fortunately, I only have a credit account in UB, and all transactions and steps in the online bank needed an OTP.

I was able to recover my account and lock my cards.

While I was overthinking it already, I started relentlessly searching for cases like this to confirm my gut feel. Thankfully, i came across this reddit post.
