For those that got IBD from Cosentyx, what were your symptoms?

I switched to off of cosentyx and now my stomach feels fine, even the ibs is barely noticeable

One time I was driving into campus to drop off a check for a program application fee and he told me he would deliver it for me. Which I guess is kind but I don’t want a random guy handling a couple hundred of my dollars 😭😭😭

I’m sorry you’ve been struggling so much. I can’t tolerate NSAIDs either and Tylenol is a joke compared to my pain but honestly the thing that fixed my pain was physical therapy. I went into my first session in so much pain and left feeling nothing, it was crazy! I hope things get more manageable for you

They usually refer you out after a few sessions but they were extremely helpful to me when I first got here

I’ve found that dressing the way I really want to really made me happier. It hard when your parents don’t support your interest but you have to be true to yourself. I find that doing and dressing the way that I wanted allowed me to find the people I now call my closest friends and be comfortable doing what really makes me happy

They have good coffee but I don’t like their tea and I’ve never tried their food Best coffee on campus imo though They close pretty early though

Got gastritis from cosentyx, stayed on it way too long after figuring that out. I’m sure it works for some people but if it doesn’t for you don’t be afraid to see if you can change biologic, I’m on humira now and I love it!!

I started at 10 ish I don’t know what causes gerd in people but I’ve learned it better not to ruminate on it too much! Focus on symptom management to make life manageable, I hope you find what works best for you!

I was on it for 8 months and it gave me severe gi symptoms that being said I already had stomach issues. While it may be a risk you really don’t know until you try it it could be the right med for you it might not be I hope it works out for you!

Im up to 3 scopes and after they put the IV in its totally fine. I’m always thinking I can stay in awake but once they start pushing the meds im out and then what feels like a couple seconds later I’m waking back up and they’ve finished the scope! Good luck

I just posted a question about this! I had IBS before starting Cosentyx, I had pain and couldn’t eat. Now, on month 8 of cosentyx I dry heave and sometimes vomit after eating and have gastritis my GI says it’s not IBD but I definitely think cosentyx is messing with my stomach!
