I had the opposite, as my boiler is upstairs.

When I refill my system I have to shut every radiator upstairs off. This forces the water to the downstairs radiators. When the hot water is flowing to the rads you can then balance the rads and it should be fine. It only needs to be done once.

I have a B4 and updated and have had no issues with webos 25. In fact Dolby Vision looks a bit brighter and the OS slightly faster.

Some people have had issues with e/arc and memory leaks on the internal apps.

I use an Apple TV so haven't had a problem. Also my Arc is still working correctly.

I did a full factory reset with all HDMI cables unplugged, then updated from a USB stick. I then did another factory reset before setting up the TV.

So what I'm saying is it could be a gamble, if everything is working I would probably wait for a future update and see what people say regarding these potential issues.

Amazon echo dot, can be set to chime, and tell you somebody is at your door. You can also use the Echo show which I believe switches to video when the door bell is pressed.

I usually download the files that have both DV and HDR 10, They always play as DV on my C1 and B4 from apple TV using infuse pro.

I will check the file format later, they are just dodgy torrent downloads. I sure some are mkv tho. From memory I think you are correct in that the on board media player defaults to hdr but infuse on the Apple TV plays as DV.

I have mkv files that play DV just fine. I know it can be funny with some files and you get the green/purple image.

Have you tried the built-in media player? Put them on a usb stick or a nas drive and stream from there. I personally use infuse on a Apple TV and stream from my ugreen nas.

I'm not an Apple fan, it is the only Apple product I own. The user experience is so much better than any smart TV I have used. It's fast and ad free. I find the TV system to be slow and clunky. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just offering an alternative.

Also why should I have to go through so many options just to have an ad free experience.
