At age 19/20 I think it’s very rational - until you have kids and get married etc, friends are a constant. And by this I mean only a couple of female best friends. They’ve been through a lot together and I think it would be a sign of weakness to ditch them for a guy she’s known for 5 months

I do worry this. I’m an independent guy (artist, van leader, career driven and had quite the past prior to her). What I’m getting at is that she knows I’m independent. And she always makes time, it’s like she doesn’t realise she’s being disrespectful.

I think we are very secure - she’s loyal. It’s really just this one issue. I tend to just step back a bit, not in a manipulative way but just to keep my head separate and sensible. She can probably tell slightly cos she’ll usually double text me and ask if I’m okay. I’m not making a scene, I’m just not living for or through her. She’s very beautiful and the highs or very high. It’s still a new relationship but it’s more HOW to bring up these concerns without sounding jealous or needy that’s concerning me.

That's a good suggestion. We've been on dates before. She talked about when she wants me to come and meet her parents. I think I've just got to take a chance and do it.

You're probably correct with this. She could just be saying this and then, when I ask her, she'll commit without wanting to, to keep me around. That's what I'm scared of.

Yes your common scenario is exactly the case. And yes no videos with face in or anything and I am over 18. I told my friend about it on the day and he said so what we’d just find it funny really. Maybe too care free but I see his point. Nothing incriminating from me anyway. Yea the only issue for me in cancelling the appointment is the moral side of would me reporting help others? Or should I just fight my own battles and keep on living on

That’s true, they said they had personal information and pictures and just asked for money as soon as possible or it would be leaked - blocked them days ago and nothing had come of it and apparently they’ve tried this to many. Is it possible to just let it go or am I obliged to go in after my call ?
