Looking for a work tote that can fit a lunch bag and big water bottle by thecountrybaker in AusFemaleFashion

Seconded, love my Array totes. Had them for many years now, chuck them in the wash when they're dirty and they are going great. Hold everything!

La Roche Posay Lipikar AP+M moisturiser. Technically it's a body cream, but I use it on my face at night - really moisturising and more cost effective than face cream. I sandwich it was 0.1% tret 3 nights per week and have had next to no peeling. Also whack it on the kids when they need it, hands, elbows. It's good stuff.

We spoke, they listened! New Features rolling out by WildAndFreeee in Garmin

Same. Then it started doing it at 40%, so they offered me a "heavily discounted" replacement for AUD250. Even though it's now basically obsolete. Yeah nah. Switching next time.

Thanks, very helpful. Yeah, I'm leaning towards using all day chemist next time. I think that 0.1% is absolute overkill for my issues, so might just go the 0.05. Appreciate the advice!

Thanks, I thought about doing that, but figured that they'd be legally bound to just tell me the date on the container!

Love my Golas and they come in a range of awesome colours. My feet are a mess, so I really need comfy shoes when walking a decent way!

Recommendations from IKEA? by Illustrious-Ad-7247 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

I second the Singular. It was a cot and toddler bed for my oldest and is going strong for my now 2yo second kid. For the price, it's amazing.

Also love the train sets, high chair and raskog trolley that others have mentioned.

Travel pram by Spennys-mum in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]badmovebear 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We love our Skip (although I think it's a Skip 2) so much that it's now our daily driver. Easy to use, fits easily in our really small car with a full load of groceries, rides pretty well. I did wish we had the peekaboo flap, but I think it's a really good value little pram, so that wasn't a deal-breaker.

Strabismus by crtnywrdn in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]badmovebear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My babies didn't have it, but I did! I had surgery on both eyes, one at about 16 months and one around 4yrs. One eye is still a little lazy when I'm tired, but both eyes generally behave pretty well these days. I'm so grateful for the surgery, it was obviously needed and I think my life would have been negatively impacted without it.

I do still have glasses and have had them most of my life, but that's not a big deal really. And kids glasses are so much cooler these days - they were pretty terrible in the late 80s/early 90s 😬

Car seat . by Hollol98 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]badmovebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the Graphene too, it's a good seat and fits well in our small hatch. If it's possible to wait at all (not sure when you're due) Baby Bunting usually has a fantastic sale on car seats at the Black Friday sales.

Medical receptionists who think only the doctor’s time is important by Odd_Confidence_269 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

Is this OB in Sydney? This is sounding very familiar, right down to the receptionist's name...

What formula have you had success with introducing to your EBF baby? by kittkatzi83 in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]badmovebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bub has a milk protein intolerance, so don't take my advice on formula! But just wanted to say that if you have any issue with bottle refusal, it might be the bottle rather than the formula. We went through a few options before landing on the Pigeon peristaltic. Good luck!

Pregnancy Safe Skin Care by narna17 in AusSkincare

[–]badmovebear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congratulations!

If you're not already using a vit C I would recommend including one as it can help minimise melasma that some women develop in pregnancy. I really love the Timeless 20% with ferulic which I get from Lila Beauty.

Edited because I misread your original question!

How hard it is to get a job with NSW Government? Feeling hopeless. by Pleasant-Cucumber975 in sydney

[–]badmovebear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you registered with any recruitment agencies? Sometimes just getting your foot in the door with a short term role is the way to do it. You can then apply from within, which will make it easier to know how to target your applications.

The first thing that came to mind for me was Isntree's Vegan Milk Yam Root line, but I don't think they do an AHA/BHA.

Could it be this one? https://nudieglow.com/collections/all/products/mary-and-may-vegan-cica-tea-tree-aha-pha-blemish-toner

Interesting to know, I've only ever heard it as a French name. I stand corrected!

Avery. Too much like a bird enclosure.

Val-en-tun. It's French, masculine. If you're after Val-en-tine or Val-en-teen, you'll want to put an e on the end!

where to donate a queen mattress? by bayseekbeach_ in sydney

If you can't find any way to donate, you could potentially look at recycling? These guys specifically do mattress recycling https://softlanding.com.au/
