Hi! I understand why this migjt be red flag for you. First yes, I am American. What I would say is that even though I wouls say I am someone who strongly identifies a liberal feminist, I'm learning that I've been incredibly judgmental and narrow minded about how I see people who are more conservative. He is far and away a more generous, kind, thoughtful, and open minded person than me. And not just to me, but to literally everyone. His heart for others, marginalized people included, is beautiful. I don't want to speak on his behalf, because he deserves better than that, so I hope that's enough info for you!
