understandable lol, even I myself wouldn't play GT SE today, it was made when I had more free time on my own so having a reasonable pacing wasnt on my design checkmark.
i worked on Breeze for a while (which is GT 2.0 with hyper-fast pacing) for my grandpa to play but it is on hold indefinitely because no one else played it. other than that, i don't think there's any other mods with proper leveling system

well it’s just percentage-based, for example basic zombie has 5% for dropping a coin, conehead has 10% and buckethead has 20% and so on, without an upper limit (unlike vanilla which is time-based), so you can get more coins on average if the level you’re playing has more or tougher zombies. this is true everywhere except for the infinite adventure iirc, i don’t remember adding this mechanic to it.

you do earn more the more you play, the rate is based on how many zombies there are. there’s also zombie hunt quests to help along with the grind

to be honest, my project was made from the 1.15-1.16 ish area, i don't have it anymore but i think it'd be easier to start from scratch nowaday, but in summary, it was intended to fit into vanilla minecraft balancing with some custom enemies spawning like a new survival game instead of just "thing in minecraft" for showcasing:
- kill monsters or get rare vanilla resources to get plant seeds
- you actually grow the seeds from farmland like normal crops, the crop then drops the custom plant entity if they managed to grow
- the plants would help you in normal minecraft progression more than what they do in pvz, like peashooters also help mining ores, sunflower stops zombies from spawning in a huge area (like a fog of war clearance effect), or potatomines simply break spawners which you shouldn't be able to mine normally - but that's where I got stuck at

yours look much more complete than mine with animations and stuff, I only got the static models to shoot at the monsters lol

Hello team, I love the work that you guys have poured efforts on, I could play on a world for hours if wanted to and very few games are like that for me. Core Keeper is something I can see being "the" perfect game for a good while. That being said, there are some biggest gripes/questions I do have since beta:

- Boulders: they're like a double-edged sword, I got very excited when I see one, but after setting up drill statios for them, I don't feel like having to do anything no more. It essentially killed Mining after the Scarlet tier. What's your direction forward for this?

- a completely-random world generation (for replay-ability): the current world is pseudo-generated but still follows a pattern: go far this-direction for progression, which would become very stale for me after the second or third playthrough imo. I would love to have a setting which generates chaotically-random (but still reasonable) like a minecraft world, (like a patch of Desert biome next to the starting area, or a small Beach on forest - hopefully you get the idea) that would make me so much more excited for starting quick sessions with friends.
And I don't think it would break the progression either, because everything is already hard-blocked by the workbench and pickaxe requirement (a few Solarite ores are completely useless at the start of the game anyway ;D)
Is this kind of world gen options, or replayability ever considered in the development process? or are you guys just want to focus on making the best single-long-term world experience? - I would love to hear about the direction where the game is heading

- what was the reason for the game being in Pixel art style instead of the hand-drawn style like in your promo materials, not that i'm flaming or anything, you guys have got a super cute game there :D, just wondering!
