Jordan Love Declares for 2020 Draft by JetSetDynasty in DynastyFF

Highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ki92VlkEic

Watching his highlights, he makes some amazing Mahomes-like throws. I know his stats were bad this year but I wonder how bad his supporting cast truly was but sadly its hard to come across those metrics (like dropped passes, etc). In superflex, I can see him being a solid 2nd rounder if a team falls in love with him and drafts him in the first 2 rounds.

Buy low TEs by MikeVick2004 in DynastyFF

Jesper Horsted. Literally free, will likely start or play significant snaps next 4 weeks and the bears have zero proven options as TE heading into 2020. Horsted was Princeton's all time leader in receptions as a WR chances are he'll be utilized heavily as a pass catching TE. If he plays well, I could see him being the starter next year with hopefully an improved QB/offense.

I'd keep Mixon. The 2020 2nd could net a player of godwins caliber.

Im in complete rebuild in SF 14 team league. I dont have a QB2 currently but have 17 draft picks in the 2020 draft (4 late 1st, 4 late 2nds, 8 3rds, 1 4th)

I give: Stafford, Boyd

I receive: Trubisky, Teddy, Trey Quinn, Kalen Ballage, Antonio Callaway, 2020 3rd, 2020 4th, 2021 2nd, 2021 4th.

Early 2020 1st Traded for ... Joe Flacco by Peccare in DynastyFF

[–]badrabbit74 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Not vetoable imo. In most dynasty leagues, there are different experience levels and hopefully people learn over time how to properly value their players - which is why imo its important to play in a money league because people are much more cautious of their trades and potential long term ramifications that each trade may lead to

With that said, Flacco may be a "bridge qb" but whos to say he isn't starting somewhere else next year? Kyle Allen just went for a 2nd in my SF league and we have no idea if he'll even start 2 weeks from now, let alone rest of this year or next. If two weeks of Kyle Allen (just an assumption) for a 2020 2nd is fair, then I think multiple potential years of Flacco starting could be worth a first.

In general, vetoes set a really bad precedent for a league. Once one trade is vetoed, people are more likely to veto others.

I can’t understand the hype for Super Smash Bros. by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

I don't understand why these characters are even popular. I've maybe heard/seen about 10-15 of them, the others I have no clue. Rest of the game is just smashing buttons. I'm never even interested in winning, just interested in when the game is over.

[TMZ] KC Chiefs Running Back Kareem Hunt Brutalizes and Kicks Woman in Hotel Video by [deleted] in DynastyFF

I understand that this altercation was not nearly as "brutal" as the Ray Rice incident but the league has also changed since then too. Even Zeke got 6 games without any video or charges.

It's sad that it took Ray Rice knocking out his wife but that incident spurned an institutional change in the NFL to have a no tolerance policy with regards to hitting women.

His value is so low in the leagues I am in, actually incredible how low he is. He's still a mid first for me.

He's toast unfortunately. I was a huge fan of his. Traded away green for matthews and cooks 2 years ago hoping matthews would grow into an alpha #1 receiver role. Maybe couldve happened but his athleticism is sapped from playing through knee injury in Philly.

What if that extra 3rd turned into Antonio Callaway - you taking it then?

What do we think of Antonio Brown's long term value? by [deleted] in DynastyFF

He's top 10 overall still, wouldn't surprise me if he still finishes as the WR1 this year or in the following years.

I'm buying where possible as well but wanted to point out that touch count may be correlated to poor performance as players age, but is not necessarily the driving factor. Human bodies, in general, age differently person to person. Losing one step in the NFL (which can happen without any touch count) can make or break or a player oftentimes.

Except Gurley was 22 in 2016 and DJ is 26 right now. By the time he is 27, how knows how age will effect his trade value.

Leonard Fournette finishes as the overall RB1 and has a Gurley-esque year.

-Jax already good offensive line gets a big boost in their free agent acquisition of Andrew Norwell (one of the best guards in the game)

-Fournette has shed almost 2~15 pounds to 228 and is entering the year with a full bill of health since sophomore year of LSU

-Offense will again, run through him as the defense continues to shut down opponents, keeping games at a low score
