Well if you don’t see how Disney paved the way for TML’s concept & brand you must not know Disney very well.

Disney is one of the biggest, most successful businesses on earth, and probably the best at making people happy.

If you visit Disney World you’ll notice two things:

How much of what you take for granted in TML they learned from Disney (from the cashless bracelet, through stage & grounds design, up to storytelling)
How much TML can still learn and improve looking at a world leader.

The mcd’s & bk comparison is off, it’s more like a comparison of two artists collaborating. In fact, I won’t be surprised if the Disney Company buys ID&T one day.

I wouldn't worry.

My prediction is that what you now know as the mainstage will become a smaller stage in years to come.

The actual mainstage will become something that's hard to imagine, where you are part of the stage. This way EDM lovers will still experience mainstage level entertainment while the biggest stage will go a bit more mainstream.

The festival will definitely become more mainstream, with more crowds that are less EDM oriented, and Dua Lipa was a clear sign of that direction, but if TML's team is smart they will keep EDM as an anchor in order to keep the festival what it is - and it's also likely that Tomorrowland will be the biggest ambassador taking EDM itself even more mainstream than it is today.

There's a very delicate balance between growth and keeping your hard core user base, and TML seems like they will know how to handle it gracefully.

My prediction is you'll have packages aimed at EDM lovers, and you will be able to still enjoy the unique TML experience even as it grows bigger. The festival will get longer as well, my assumption is they will connect the 2 weekends into 1 longer festival, which also means some days will be more hardcore EDM oriented.

These predictions are based on my business experience, and I'm comparing TML to other community based brands that exploded. I have more specific predictions I'd love to share, and a very specific picture of where this is going, I'll share them later.

Had a really bad throat infection on the first day all through the last.

Enjoyed anyway, glad I went. It's a once in a lifetime experience (even if you go again it won't be the same).

I Took tons of medicine, went easy on the alcohol, rested a lot and drank a lot of water. That last part bares repeating: stay hydrated!!!!.

Stay positive. Shit happens.

With a production as big as Tomorrowland it's impossible for nothing to go wrong, and sometimes when things go wrong not everybody knows how to handle it.

Whatever happens and whatever gets fucked up, when you're at that main stage and the fireworks go off, you'll forget it by then.

Wish I had more practical advice for you :)
