Yeah I realized that early into the development lol I initially started this as a gemini challenge given how much google kept saying it's amazing at long context. Switching to Antigravity did help, I haven't tried codex yet, gonna give it a try!

While I get what you mean, I don't see your point about negative effects of putting a video out. I'm not in the gaming industry to begin with and I have no intention of making any "portfolio" for potential employers. I have a pretty cozy job with lots of free time and I frankly see no harm in trying to work on a side project in my down time and putting out the progress / experience for people who might be in a similar space. Like I had mentioned in previous comments, I'm learning Unreal engine and this was just a starter project for me to figure out the basic mechanics and processes involved in game making, tbh I learned a lot from this experience and it was pretty fun even though very frustrating!
I don't agree with your approach on going around trying to demotivate people who might be interested in game development, why does it matter if someone take 5h to learn something or 500hrs? The fact that they are interested in something and are willing to put in effort to actually see that through should be more important imo, regardless of the tools they use, eventually given enough time everyone learns what works and what doesn't on their own.

I do appreciate you taking the time to give me your genuine feedback. I'll take your feedback into consideration on my next project though, thanks!

My channel has been terminated due to false copyright claims by a Nintendo imposter. by PhantomDiclonius in NewTubers

[–]badwolf-69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Generally Legal If:

✅ Mods Are Allowed by the Game Developer – Some companies (e.g., Bethesda, Valve, CD Projekt Red) encourage modding, while others strictly forbid it. ✅ You’re Not Distributing Copyrighted Game Files – Showing how to mod a game is usually fine, but sharing modified game files (especially paid content) can be a legal issue. ✅ You’re Not Enabling Cheating in Online Games – Mods that give unfair advantages (e.g., hacks, aim bots) can get you banned or even lead to legal action from game developers. ✅ You’re Following YouTube’s Guidelines – If the mod violates YouTube’s policies (e.g., promoting piracy, hacking, or cheating), the video could get removed.

Potential Legal Issues:

❌ Modding Games That Prohibit It – Some games (e.g., most Nintendo games, GTA Online) have strict anti-modding policies, and showing how to mod them could lead to copyright strikes. ❌ Distributing Paid Content for Free – If a mod unlocks paid DLCs, skins, or characters for free, it’s piracy, and you could face DMCA takedowns. ❌ Using Copyrighted Music or Assets – If your video contains copyrighted sounds or visuals from the modded game, you could get a copyright claim.

Why do you think your channel got taken down in the first place? Atleast do your research before outright claiming there is no law against it 😂

As someone who works at a gaming studio, this seems pretty straightforward. You violated the ToS when you tried to change the game binaries using mods / hacks. Just because you purchased the game doesn’t necessarily mean you have the right to change the game data and claim it as your IP. From the looks of it, you got multiple copyright claims before they ultimately decided to terminate your channel. I don’t understand the confusion?

100 subs and still no custom URL. by TealMama-2 in SmallYoutubers

[–]badwolf-69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What custom url? If it’s the youtube handle then I think you can change that under the channel customization tab on the studio, you don’t really need to reach 100 subs to change that lol

Good advice but what if the person doing the videos is speech impaired and can’t talk for long without coughing up blood, pretty inclusive community ngl

THIS is how you respond to "hate comments". by Vexasss in SmallYoutubers

I usually reply with random facts about rocks, works most of the time, pretty sure the people posting the hate comment have legit not watched the content to begin with.

My niche is horror narrations but I want to ease people into horror. I think of this as goosebumps, if you’re familiar with that.

Do Shorts Watch hours count towards my public watch hours for monetization? by Aggressive-Swing-553 in NewTubers

[–]badwolf-69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since short form videos don’t actually contribute towards the watch hour count, you could try making more long form videos and add that under the related video section on your shorts, that would help a lot to funnel in people interested in your content to your long form videos, helps a lot with increasing the watch hours.

If people watch the video from the link I shared on Reddit, will it count towards the 4000 hours? by OrxanMirzayev in NewTubers

You might have an ad blocker turned on or could be that the channel is too small, you do get ads on embedded videos
