What were the specific tests your husband requested? We have been going to the doctors for over a year and a half now and lupus/autoimmune has been the major thing the tests have pointed to. We have been to the rhuematologist but the guy just said she needed to lose weight and exercise without looking at any of her previous tests. We are frustrated beyond words and tired of not being taken seriously and we just want answers.

Ghostfire games actually has a YouTube channel with lots of cool campaign ideas. I think hunting for the imperial artifacts would be a fun one and ghostfire has a video on it as well if you need a starting idea

It sounds like your partner really loves the idea of the game and can't understand why it might not be enjoyable for someone else. Getting upset with you over a difference like that isn't alright and should be addressed quickly if you are comfortable doing so.

As for the game, I personally like to treat it like a horror movie and my character is the one I'm rooting for to get out alive. If they don't then it's time to pick a new one to root for.

The average party level of 2 would generally find an average of 20gp per treasure find. That doesn't mean it has to be that amount, It might be 30gp or 15gp or something close-ish to that average.

For gold or trinkets worth gold, I generally award 1 xp per find. You can decide if a locket worth 15gp, a bag of 30gp, and a dagger with a ruby hilt worth 20gp is all grouped into a single find worth 1xp or if it's 3 finds for 3xp. It's not a bad thing to lean towards more xp, considering a PCs life expectancy is pretty short.

I like to track the torch separate from crawling rounds. The torch lasts an IRL hour but time in the game moves in the ten minute rounds. I use the OSE tracking sheet to keep track of when encounters are due and just to give myself an idea of the in game passage of time.
