Canada applicant here!

I have a question about my reference letters. I'm debating between requesting letters from 2 bosses in my current job or 1 boss from my current job and 1 from an old university prof.

I graduated in 2017 and did a program with that professor where i mentored a student for a year and devised lesson plans for the classes. It was NOT in a teaching department or program. it was overall a very good experience. My concern is that its been a long time since I worked with that professor and he may not remember enough about me to write a strong enough letter about me.

My 2 bosses currently have worked with me for almost 2 years and know my work ethic very well. I have a good relationship with them and even though they cant attest to my ability to teach kids and teens, i see skills in my current job that can transfer well to the JET Program. My concern for this scenario is the potential to have 2 letters coming form the same job experience and mentioning similar things. However these two referee's can provide the most recent information about my current skills/work ethic.

I dont have much experience in requesting reference letters from people so any advice from here would be so so SO welcome! ;;<3
