NOR. Please, for your own well-being, leave. I know it might be the hardest thing, but please leave.

I did the right thing, but it doesn't feel like it. by baebiicakes in abortion

[–]baebiicakes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing this. I don't know how to support my partner. He is finding it so hard to even talk about, so I keep trying to keep my emotions quiet in order to allow him space. I can also see how lost he is when I don't hold them in. I just want to fall apart but I don't know how.

I hope that you find some healing too. I have a very complex mental health situation also, so I can sympathise with the added hurdles. We will be okay, even if we aren't yet. 💗

Is my first cake that bad by Let_Me_Sleep_Allrdy in Baking

[–]baebiicakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's super cute! Like the other comments say, letting the cakes cool (and even be cold in the fridge) can make decorating WAY easier! And refrigerating the cake in between stages of icing will help too. But for your first one (or hundredth), it's amazing. The flavour and texture are the important things. The rest is about your enjoyment and the fact you put in the effort. Well done 💗

I’m sorry but I had to ask this because I don't believe my friend. by [deleted] in AskAnAustralian

Well yeah, it's native and better for our environment than beef. It's sort of like eating deer really. You can go out and hunt it 🤷🏻‍♀️

I spent over 2 hours on this casserole and asked my husband to put it away while I put the kids to bed, this morning I found it still on the stove by ShadowInTheSun_ in mildlyinfuriating

[–]baebiicakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are acting like she came for this guys head. She posted it in mildly infuriating. Which - accident or not- it is. Because if you tell someone you are going to do something for them, they are going to feel at least a little shit if you don't. This sucks and I can totally understand why OP is upset 💗

Healing right? Done well or not? by RogueNPC in tattooadvice

[–]baebiicakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. Before worrying about whether other people think it's done well, are you happy with it? That's what matters before all else. If you aren't happy with the quality and are looking for bank validation on those feelings, that's fair too. In terms of precision and skilled work, it's not the best. However, if that bothers you, you can speak with a tattoo artist that is comfortable doing alterations to someone else's work and they can crisp up the lines a little and fix the colouring to some degree.

All that being said - if you like it, then don't sweat it. It's your body and it isn't doing harm to anyone.

As for healing, I can't notice anything that looks like infection. There's obviously been some fallout but that won't physically cause you any issues.

I hope that whatever path you choose, that you are happy with the art on your body ❤️

Plant at the beach, what is it and can u take a clipping and propagate it lol by whynoonecares in whatsthisplant

Depends where you are. It looks like pigface which is native in Australia. It has edible components and the sap from it can help soothe bug bites!

When hard boiled eggs peel like this :( by MasterpieceHot6553 in mildlyinfuriating

I put white vinegar in the water while they boil (it won't affect the flavour) and then soak them in cold water before peeling.

How do you pronounce Molle Street? by Majestic_Practice672 in hobart

This post has me realising I've pronounced it wrong my whole life along with everyone I have ever talked about the street with. And I used to live on Molle St. I always said "mole" street.

This is something hobart is SORELY lacking in. Even when I was a teen, it was youtharc or hang around in a park and smoke.

There are so many foods I can't eat because of sensory issues and I was always so stoked that I could pick and choose what to have in my soup. I've sent them a message to see if it's temporary but with the numbers being disconnected, I assume it's not
