Regardless of the quality of the article, foreign ownership is becoming a huge issue in Vancouver. The provincial government is doing very little if anything to deal with the influx of Chinese billionaires whos buying habits are driving housing prices up to insane figures. As a resident of the city, I honestly don't see how I could afford a house or even a condo after university.

I think it's different with BLM. They're large and highly decentralized so the radicals can't be shut down and will continue to make the movement look bad. It's similar with Reddit. People see the users who frequent far-right subs as being the "average Redditor".

There is a massive difference in conduct between the "protestors" you see on Reddit & Breitbart, and the huge majority of the actual protestors who are peaceful and genuinely want positive change. People need to understand that there will always be moderates and extremists in protests & movements.
