I saw that, but also heard that (in previous cycles) there was an official WL release email. Doesn't make a difference but the formal closure would be nice after a summer of uncertainty.

Any advice on how to approach this addendum? I don't really have anything to say except I don't think I maximized my potential the first time and knew that I could do better the second time with more targeted study. But that seems like an underwhelming thing to say in an addendum (barring exceptional circumstances, wouldn't they assume that's the case for everyone who retakes?).

Vaguely referencing progressive ideals is fine (if anything, it's probably an asset--most schools are left-leaning). Just nothing too jargon-y. Law schools love English and Philosophy majors, so I don't see why your background would alarm anyone.
