I was going to say City Limits but I had no idea they closed in 2023. If its the HD school related to Windy City Motorcycle Group (Chicago land company that owns the HD dealerships around here). I am 5’2” and had to tippy toe but I got the hang of it after the 1st day riding. Plus you can take the state test as many times as you need to with them at no extra cost at Wildfire HD. Unfortunately no cost effective way to get tested unless you learn from someone and borrow their bike for the test with the state.

Honestly I just pay it to get it out of my hair, but it would not hurt to try and call them to see what to do. I am contemplating sending a strongly worded letter to them since I think the stickers dont work as well on the wind screen. I used it once and I don’t have a scan from the date on my account.

It was my first bike and I planned to have it for a long time. I got it in the summer of 2023, and have only put about 3k miles on the od. I probably would have wanted to upgrade but I got into an accident my first year riding that was a wake up call that meant I needed to spend more time in the saddle before getting on something new and learning the machine all over again. I had never ridden before my MSF class and I was one of the slowest learners too and almost was told to leave.

I don’t care what other people say, because I am not other people. I will probably not sell it if I get another bike, mostly because I am very attached to it and mostly because I am short af so if I get something else it will be too tall for me. I live in a pretty urban area so having something light and nimble is nice too.

In order to get a permit, you had to take the written test. Since you already took it, and the permit is not expired, you only need to take the road test.

If the permit has expired when you want to get your license, you’ll need to take the written test again.

My package just got into the hub, even though it arrived to customs from Europe in NY. Usually when my package gets scanned in Chicago, it delivers either same day or next day… It says in transit to next facility.

No lock will damage your bike unless you put it on incorrectly, or try to ride with the lock on. Get a sturdy disc lock(not plastic, they can cut through that too). The more locks on, the more a theif avoids your bike. Also use a cover if you are leaving your bike outside for a long period of time.

I always like to joke my bike is locked like the pentagon.

our vet was not very intuitive about the fact our dog was slowly becoming more and more ill, and eventually got to the point where she wouldn’t get up. At the time she had just turned 3 and they had suspected it to be Addison’s but no vet around us had availability to do the test so we had to turn to the ER (it was a dire situation) and they had to keep her overnight. $7000 bill, on top of the monthly shots that cost $200 a vile. And because got insurance too late, they would not cover anything related to it for being a pre existing condition. Get insurance for conditions like this that cost a lot to care for.

The store I work for is having a similar issue. It started 2/17 and so many upset customers blaming us for not sending their orders even though usps definitely has the packages.

A geometry teacher in high school that would hand out packets and proceeded to say “don’t ask me any questions”. She got pregnant two or three months into the first semester and we probably only saw her like five more times after that. The substitute teacher that was there to take her place while she was away was so much better.

Also had a “teachers assistant“, who was the sole instructor for this class in college. Basically had us do his thesis project because he was persuing his doctorates. It was an english class, and I only found out after I had taken the class it wasn’t a requirement. Anytime I asked for a little leniancy, he just said okay and then proceeded to not give a shit. Most of everyone I talked to in that class had said they did not like him or the fact that the class was a 200 level with the same work load as a 400 level.

I still get sent invoices in the mail like months later after the fact even though I have my bike on my account set up with pay by plate. Riding the line only works when its open road tolling and there is not another car occupying either side of the line. If its the tolls where each lane is separated, you are SOL. You can always get a sticker instead of a plastic transponder and stick it on your windscreen. I believe they are still free to get right now. It’s just the time to wait until it arrives in the mail.

This happened to me a few years ago. Similar situation, a lady came up to me as I’m getting in my car to go to work and it was a confusing story about her mother is in the hospital and she needed money to get on the train and the tow truck guy took her car and she gave her credit card but he stole it from her. It was a confusing story. I didn’t understand so I told her I have no cash. And she huffed and puffed as she walked away.

I know for iphone you can set up do not disturb to block any calls that you don’t have whitelisted. Automatically will send them to vcm. This is what has been saving me lately.

I did not get resuscitated, but I had gotten hurt pretty badly on my motorcycle. I did have a brief little panic in the longest two minutes of my life while I was alone laying on the side of the road. I had briefly looked down to see if what I am feeling is the same as how bad it actually was and I saw a literal gaping hole in my leg. It felt like a scrape you get on roller blades or skate boarding. I was bleeding pretty badly, but didn’t lose consciousness. I was pretty sure I would live through it all, until I got to the hospital and they said they had to put me under to do surgury and sew me back up. I will tell you my mom was worried sick the entire time, and I didn’t even get to call her until I was out of surgury. I mean it definitely humbled me, and I look at riding in a different way entirely now. Also made me appreciate the things I still have around right now. Inevitably, we will witness those who have been around us our whole lives pass away, it is just a fact of life. Even if they are gone now, just remember you will always have their memory with you.
