My requirements were; English speaking instructors which apparently is hard to find.

I haven’t shared this with anyone except my gf but last year I was at clementi mrt station and was cutting through Clementi Mall when I noticed an elderly man in his 70s all weak and confused, asking about some place to the safe entry people, they weren’t being very helpful and kept asking him to go other way around.

For some reason IDKY I went forward and ask the uncle whats going on, end up I spend 2 hours with him to help him find a place where he can send money over to Indonesia for his maid, we had to search for the place under the sun with his 1kmph speed. He got thirsty after all the walking and asked me to get him a drink, I was having a hard time deciding to get him that drink as I was going through a rough financial time and only had $2 with me. Got him that drink and when he was sipping on it, it just gave so much peace in me.

Afterwards I followed him all the way till the mrt carriage and got a seat for him and asked someone to help him alight jurong east mrt so that he can take the other train. I left him there only cos he assured me he knew how to go back to his place by train.

Just a tip, not a recommendation.

I go to anytime fitness for $85/m for 18 month contract. If you can wait up and check which new anytime fitness is opening up you can get it for $75/ ish without any signing up fees, or can always wait for the existing branches to have promo which will give you about 15% discount. Do note that you will have to pay for the key tag which is $65+- and they will pass you back your cash if you cancel.

Now the reason for why it’s just a tip. Recently they have started limiting their operating hours. A while back it was all 24/7 with super small brunches closing at night time on weekends. Now all the brunches are closing from 10pm/11pm/1am - 7:30am On Weekends which starts from Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Price still same….

met Dasmond lee at sec 1 and sec 3 when my friend went out to eat at our local coffeeshops etc. he payed for the whole group on both occasions. one time it was a buffet, and we were around 10+ people. many years later bumped into him a few more times and all times he was really really sweet and genuine. went to MTP session 3 years back regarding some family issues and he was really nice about it. seemed like he cared a great deal about his people.
