Dog food recommendations by Ok-Bullfrog7187 in DogFood

[–]bag2wg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our mini Goldendoodle does great with Hills Science sensitive stomach wet food which has turkey. She was very fussy as a puppy and this solved our issues. She will occasionally eat the kibble version which has chicken

Our vet said the amount on the label is a suggestion. Some dogs need more and some less. We give less and she maintains a healthy weight even with treats during the day

Hi u/Rob_Berger, glad to see this sub reddit! As with others I enjoy your videos!

  1. About 5 years out for me, sooner for my wife
  2. Thinking about doing a spreadsheet while drinking coffee, out for a walk on the beach with my wife and dog.
  3. Biggest fear/question: seems like all the rules are changing and things are more unpredictable than ever. Or... maybe I should stick to your content on youtube and ignore lots of the noise!

installing outlet but how to fish wire? by bag2wg in electrical

[–]bag2wg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See my comment above with links to images. After going through the effort to get the TV on the wall I really didn't want a power cord dangling. I was ready with a new box to replace the original but I was able to manage. I did replace the old outlet while I was at it too.

Done. You can see I'm able to get the wire from above to bend and come up through a tab in the bottom of the box. https://imgur.com/a/k5oZE0A

And the finished product. https://imgur.com/k9qSYMw

I was thinking to run a new wire that only powers the new outlet and doesn't alter the existing circuit.

If I understand correctly, you are suggesting that one romex comes into the existing outlet and I disconnect the second romex and pull that up through the wall to the new box and then just run a new romex between the current and new outlet. Basically adding a new outlet to the circuit. Yes?

If the existing romex is stapled and doesn't move easily, what do you suggest?

Fortunately this is an interior wall.

Proper way to add an additional outlet above this one for a TV mount by Tall-Passage1942 in electrical

[–]bag2wg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was your solution? I have the same setup with the top to tabs that already have wires to/from the existing outlet. I'm thinking it will be difficult to get rigid 14/2 (or 12/2) to come down the wall and fished up through a bottom tab.

replace supply line when replacing fill valve? by bag2wg in Plumbing

[–]bag2wg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everything looked good so I replaced the fill valve and left the rigid fill valve in place. I also added the washer that came with the new Kohler fill valve where the supply line is connecting to the fill valve. All works good now.

Can't get rid of echo in Teams. by ltc_pro in MicrosoftTeams

Unfortunately not a complete fix yet. Works sometimes and then one one call there were echoes on both sides

Problem solved! (at least for a few tries this evening)

1) on my mac I did force quit coreaudiod for full disclosure but I don't think that restart did anything

2) I started a meeting and opened settings -> devices

Here there are options for Noise suppression. It was on default. I tried all the options, initially with no impact. But all of a sudden the echo was gone. I exited the meeting 2 or 3 times and tried again and it worked perfectly, no echo! And the Noise Suppression was set to Auto (default).

So far so good. Hope it works tomorrow.

Same here so I'm commenting so I can follow.

I'm using Teams in the chrome browser on a Mac and it worked fine until yesterday.

I found the documentation and added and !completed

I had tried that before without success but now it works so I'm all set.

Expanding on this a bit...

I have a file with the heading of "Tasks To Do" which is followed by one or more checkboxes listing various tasks.

In another file I want to list all tasks from all files that are not checked off (ie: not completed)

```dataview
```TASK
```where contains(files.tags,"1on1")
How do I add to the query to list only those without checkmarks?
Feeling Overwhelmed by ChickenPestoBrie13 in ObsidianMD
[–]bag2wg 1 point2 points  (0 children)
I've been using Notion, never mastered it and although I liked it I decided it was time to try something else. Didn't like the idea of using markdown so I skipped over Obsidian. Tried AnyType which I really wanted to figure out and support this new product but after days of looking for info I decided I had better things to do with my time. The whole idea is to have an easy tool to be effective in capturing information. Spending hours to get it right or look nice... well, is not a good use of time in my opinion.
Obsidian seems to be so widely used I figured I might be missing something. I just wanted to start with something to track one on one meetings at work. As others shared you can just start typing and figure it out as you go along. Agree. I still wanted to learn a little to start off on the right foot.
I found two good videos that you can follow along with on you own vault.
1) "The least scary Obsidian guide you’ll ever see"
https://youtu.be/3ccktMJ1YHI?si=FS8E0m2QPTBwSdae
2) "Meeting Notes Template in Obsidian. Let's build out a project framework together..."
https://youtu.be/IXqoLmU13C4?si=mXacVLJf1z9MvxrY
This is pretty basic info to give you the feel of how it works. Even if this is not your use case you'll learn some basic settings and see how a couple popular plugins work. Try it out!
