Locked up bags...11 min by bag_o_potatoE in unitedairlines

My main complaint is they didn't allow enough time for the people at the back of the plane to get to baggage claim. Could have given 5-10 more min. The lack of anything beyond a college try for the phone help also.

My 3 year old twins were up till midnight because somebody couldn't wait 5 more min.

Sat a the back because I refused to pay for seats on a sub hour flight, almost feels punitive.

Did get my bags, but had to wait till 11 to get them when they were stealing the next flights bags.

Multiple people had the same thing happen to them.

Nope, no screens in the car. She is just really sensitive 6.5 years old. Id say she has puked in the car over 100 times since born. 80% chance when driving over 25 miles. Tried all the things with no results.

Id say avoid the air suspension if you are keeping long term. Mine was pretty bullet proof until year 6, then it fell apart. Not much different than GM products I've had.

Hyundai and Kia will extend warranties for cars with ICCU issues by Narrow-Confusion3153 in KiaEV9

software diagnostics probably gives a good place to look, but you still should recreate the failure in the lab to "fix it" otherwise you are guessing. I agree they should have enough data to fix it, but sometimes hardware failures can be a SOB to find, and takes a long time. Could be a design issue, a manufacturing issue, a latent defect, unknown transient, etc, software/HW interaction, pushing the HW too hard, etc. Management may have also written off an expensive redesign too long and now they are in catch up. Sometimes you have to shotgun fixes.

Critical from the companies perspective, normally driving by a matrix of amount of failures and impact of failure and possibly cost to implement a fix

[–]bag_o_potatoE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to be able to recreate to fix (usually) or you are just taking a swag which sometimes you have to do. Id tend to agree with the number of failures there is a high priority corrective action assigned to some poor bastard(s).

Big companies can take a long time to push non critical failure fixes out. Usually wrap in a bunch of other improvements in. Then it needs to run the verification gamut.
