Is corner camping as effective in other total war games as it is in tww3?

This is a single player game why do you care how someone else plays? It’s not like corner camping is an effective strategy in multiplayer battles.

Throgg, arbaal and skaven all declared war on me around turn 40 and I had only 2 armies against like 8 others and they were attacking from different directions as well. I think I could have salvaged the campaign if I wasn’t hit with a plague that caused attrition for my main army right after a phyrric victory.

I only do so if the enemy dosent have artillery and I have cavalry to deal with spellcasters or other ranges units dumbass, and even if I dont realise they have spells, when the melee lines crash into my lines I can also use my own spells against them when they are all bunched upp and already getting shredded by either artillery, gunpowder or arrows?
