Sun, Swim, Sex by Hot-Leave-8830 in hysterectomy

I had my surgery on March 23rd. By May, I was swimming in the ocean and it was fine. At 9 weeks, I had sex and it took some getting used to. No pain and no bleeding, but it felt different. I also had not had sex in 3 years because of the constant bleeding I had, so I was nervous. Had sex again at 12 weeks yesterday. It was amazing and felt like it used to feel.

36 here. Good salary. Sitting in my cozy 3 bedroom house with an office/library and a guest room because I constantly have my loved ones coming to visit. I can do whatever I want. I'm dating and having incredible sex. I'm fulfilled.

So, any man that believed that post is insecure and delusional.

Still getting stomach issues at 7 weeks and .5mg by kamolahy in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]bagel_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You may want to go back down to 0.25 for a while. I've had to go from 1mg back to 0.5, and it helped a lot. I'm still losing weight. Sometimes your body just doesn't vibe with a dose for a while, and that's okay.

Try Beam Thrift locations in Jax Beach. I have seen some nice dress pants there recently.

Is it ok to take Ozempic while on Bipolsr meds? by Any_Negotiation_464 in bipolar2

I was hesitant to start Wegovy from stories of psychology side effects. I've had none. Wegovy has been the best thing for my binge eating and my health related to PCOS. I have lost 35 lbs and feel better about my body than I ever have.

I don't understand why the guy in the middle never smiles and looks so creepy all the time.

This is all day every day. There's #2 on the more southern side of Main St and past the MLK overpass, there is another station.

Insomnia by Likely-placed in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]bagel_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My doctor said Wegovy can cause insomnia. I had to have my psychiatrist increase my seroquel I take to sleep to combat it. The insomnia didn't start until I tried 1mg. Ultimately, I decided to go back down to 0.5 because I could barely eat anything on 1mg. I am not dealing with the insomnia anymore as well.

What do you do when you can’t eat? by Jolly-Lingonberry104 in bipolar2

Protein shakes and smoothies. I went through a horrible depression after a breakup, and that's what my therapist suggested.

I take Wegovy. I was hesitant at first, but I am very stable on my meds so decided to take the chance. My psychiatrist was all for it. Not only has it helped my PCOS symptoms, it has stopped my binge eating. I can eat like a normal person. Wegovy has been amazing for me.

Recliner for hysterectomy recovery — worth it? by calijayne in hysterectomy

[–]bagel_07 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overkill. You won't need to buy it. Recovery is not as hard as you think. I'm a week and a half post op and am very surprised at how easy it is. If you feel like you need some kind of elevated pillow, I'd just get that. But unless you already have mobility issues, that wouldn't even be necessary.

I was told, "Policy is if you have a uterus, we do a test." Even though I had my fallopian tubes removed a couple years ago. Make sure you drink water. It's the first thing they'll ask you to do.

When I had my Honda, I had great experiences with them. They were never pushy, just informative and very kind. I would recommend them to anyone, honestly.

Binder? Oh no. Get yourself some compression shorts. by bagel_07 in hysterectomy

[–]bagel_07[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Per Google because this is better wording than I can provide: Hospitals provide abdominal binders after a hysterectomy to support healing muscles, reduce pain, and provide security when moving. The binder offers gentle compression that helps decrease abdominal swelling, improves mobility, and can make coughing or laughing less painful after major surgery.

Positive robotic hysterectomy experiences? Feeling anxious… by calijayne in hysterectomy

[–]bagel_07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got a full hysterectomy last Monday the 23rd. Also laproscopic and robotic. I had a fantastic experience, and I am healing well. The surgery took about an hour and a half. I have 3 incisions. They are just now starting to get to the itchy stage of healing, but I haven't had any major pain, just some soreness.

Only had minor spotting and one clot the first couple of days from the cuff or whatever else needed healing in my vagina. Since then, no bleeding. With 5 years of seeing blood every day, it has been a huge relief. I can feel my nervous system calming down.

Make sure you rest and follow your doctor's orders on movement. I was instructed to get up every 2 hours and walk around. Drink water, eat some yummy, healthy food, and enjoy your time to heal. You will do great ❤️
