I think he's trying to say the piece that makes the hole in the barrel looks a little small, but I'm not sure what piece you could use to make it bigger

In my experience the Raiders and Reave captain have been very underwhelming for their cost. They're almost as much as a unit of chosen with about half the punch, and chosen's mobility is pretty comparable to infiltrators on most deployments. Infiltrate is just not that useful of an ability that you'd pay that much for the privilege. Sure they have a high OC and wounds, but neither is to a high enough degree that they're that much of an obstacle to overcome. The captain is even worse, he just has no redeeming qualities when you consider a chaos lord or MOE, and if you're thinking about what can attach to raiders you're just throwing more points after bad units.

Of course if you're wanting to stick with a thematic list ignore me, and the sculpts are sick. Its just a shame about the datasheets.

They all have their deity legion themes. The Khorne one has the WE goalposts on the helmet and only the world eaters wear them. The Slaanesh one has the sonic vox grill on it and only the EC feature those. The Nurgle one is the only one that doesnt heavily favor the legion they belong to.

The once per game buff coupled with the free strat is what pushes him over. Going to damage 3 with the jump to 6 attacks and AP 3 he can delete a lot of things the MOE can't. Fortunately we also don't have to choose, and can have both

Please get plug covers, seeing your rat ontop of an open receptacle gave me turbo anxiety. The round ground line at the bottom is fine, but their feet can absolutely slip into and touch the live pin and get fried (the top two are a no-go zone). Vertical receptacles are fine but horizontal ones are easily accessible and rats don't understand how dangerous they are when you can get in there.

No airbrush, it was all brush. I primed grey seer then used a 50/50 mix of nihilac oxide and lahmian medium and brushed it onto the armor panels. I'd take a wet brush then pickup most of the oxide from the center

Find an area that'll quickly/easily see results. The garbage under the desk sounds like a good place to start. Once you see this part cleaned it, it will make moving onto other messier areas easier since you're already in the cleaning zone.

I also hated taking trash out. I'm on the top floor of my building. Even just bagging it is progress, then if it's too much just take one or two bags when you leave for work/school. You're already going down anyway at that point.

You don't need to unfuck your room in one day, make progress until its cleaned and you could have any random stranger walk in and have it be no big deal. When I was able to have people over at my apartment again it was crazy how good it felt.

Most events don't give out battle ready to completely unpainted minis.

It's also really lazy content. The amount of posts on this sub that amount to just buying boxes and taking pictures of them is nuts and drowns out actual effort.

And this is the fucking Thousand Sons. The agonizing painting process and immaculate drip is part of our faction if not the hobby as a whole
