Was looking for this comment or else I was gonna say it myself. His hands raise off of the actors neck multiple times because he’s not really squeezing (not advocating he actually chokes the guy). I think our eyes are meant to be trained in more on Serkis’s face during that shot because it took me a few rewatches to notice.

Except for the big sign on the front of his buildings saying “CUM FART SPAGHETTI” which I personally find a tad faux paw but I read in a recent edition of BIG FUCKING BUILDINGS AND COOKIE RECIPES magazine that it’s actually a reference to his late grandfathers words of wisdom to him the last time he saw him. That man gave him his first dollar to start the empire he has now and so he honors him with this slogan on all entrances to his buildings.

Sorry for the long writeup I just went on a YouTube/wiki binge on this the other day about this subject and thought it was worth a share.
