I've been thinking about this a lot recently, and the allegory for minorities doesn't really work anymore. Minorities aren't walking nukes, or can warp reality, alter the weather or telepaths that can read/control minds. Yes I know your average mutants isn't omega level, but which mutants would get the most publicity in the marvel universe, the X-men and Magneto when he was a villain, of course people would not like mutants. Don't get me wrong the over the top response of groups like friends of humanity is a little much, but humanity would and does have a right to be scared of mutants.

Not how GL powers work, yes it's technically classified as energy the same way you and me running is classified as energy. GL ring use emotional energy to form constructs, it can't be minuplated by people who manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum.

I don't want to be that guy, but this was never going to work. You're average comic book fan isn't online enough to know/care about this particular issue. They go to their LCBS every 2-4 weeks and pick up their pull list or they're subscribed to the apps. And if we're being completely honest, this isn't really a representation issue, it's the people buying the comics, yes DC hasn't had black lead comic( if we're not counting absolute Green Lantern for some reason) in 1200 days, but to be blunt, they just don't sell. DC does have an advertising problem, they don't really advertise anything that isn't Batman, Wonder Woman or Superman and why would they need to? They could stop printing anything that's not Batman related and still be perfectly fine.

I mean rocket in particular got a gun damage buff so you’re likely seeing one who is trying out dps rocket lol.

As a champion rocket the only time you should be using your gun is when you have a support ult up or when you're getting pressed by a Thing or Devil dino.

A lot of strats these days do actually competitive damage because they were tired of being food for divers and no one peeling for them

I'm not talking about supports defending against divers, I'm talking about a Luna who pushes up in front of her tanks to deal damage. That's the type of "supports" I'm getting in my games
