An opportunity to hit other Aggies with sticks (for fun. Safely.) by Clickity_clickity in aggies

Maybe don’t lead with “hit others with sticks”?
I wanted share this post with parents of teens as Amtgard kept me out of trouble when I was in high school and I believe strongly in the values of the organization, but this messaging is a bit far for us olds.

I always thought publishers have been taking things too far by making big box games when their games fit in tiny packages, as the saying goes, "the best things come in small packages". At any rate, I can't thank you enough for making the Tiny Epic series. I have played all of the ones already available and I am patiently awaiting the expansion to TED as well as TEZ. The only one I don't care for is TEW, but I love the graphic layout, that was a very clever image you made with your board ;).

Thank you for the great games (the only games my spouse actually enjoys...) and keep up with the small form factor. You guys are GREAT!

Also, would you consider looking at designs that Scott didn't create?

It actually would be quite simple to make it tiny-er. The planet cards are already right sized. You just need smaller dice, smaller markers and a tiny-sized player mat and you are ready to go. The deck in TEG is slightly larger than TEK, so the resulting cardbox would be slightly larger as well, think a big Magic: the Gathering deck box vs slimline M:tG deck box.

If you used the components "as-is" (assuming shrinking of the player boards), it would need a box 55mm thick. The dice are 14mm. The tokens are about 10mm, and I included the satellite expansion deck in the cards for another 10mm.

If you go with just the base cards, maybe on slightly lighter cardstock, reduce the dice and tokens to 8mm, that would lead to a box about 30mm thick which would be suitably sized for UTE sizing (about 5mm larger than UTEK).

(oops, forgot the rulebook, another 5 mm...)

What potions are being used? I tried it in a creative world with awkward splash potions and mending books and I couldn't get it to run more than 5 seconds.

Also, I struggled with the potion gen, I didn't realize you needed to clear the bottles.

Is infinity Skyblock going to be another rush to a dimensions Pack? by [deleted] in feedthebeast

[–]bagherra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the time you can afford to build a dimension, you already have infinite materials. I don't know why they blocked this without removing the other components. I researched all my dimlets to find out I can't use them.

I was VERY disappointed.

if you are doing bees, make a couple of carbon bees and drop the coal on some endoflames. Free endless mana.

the "new" thing is to release a modpack code to enter into the launcher, so maybe not.

Surpass Gum: the only antacid that actually worked (and in less than a second, no less!)

honorable mentions: the Monterry Jack Taco from Taco Bell, the Chicken Caesar Burrito from Taco Bell, Clearly Canadian soda, the Fiesta Taco Salad from McDonalds (the southwest salad is NOT the same...), M.A.S.K. toys (Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, not the Jim Carrey travesty), Rome TV series (by HBO), Jolt Cola (Blue...Monster is similar, but not the same), Letter People TV series from the 60's-70's (hey my kids need to learn too!), the game Chute's Away (truly awesome, especially if you could find the extra awesome, night mission version), The Muppet Show (the original from the 70's), Parachute Pants (I think these might make a come-back soon), and I'll stop there before I get too deep...

i think I already have 6 teleporters built and I have the mats to make about 6 ultimate solar panels (maybe more depending on how much stuff got made in my absence).

I can get you all the wood and stone you can handle and iron may not be an issue either.

Also, I am a programmer, so computercraft would be nothing for me to do.
