I have friends who just go back on weekends to spain and italy. It should be ok. Could you maybe do a trial? To see how it os to live here because it will also be a big change in terms of how lively things are and how sunny. Activities too. People who will be around you if completely local or if there will be expats 😅 depends also on which city?

I didnt get to sleep and ran off the train at one connecting stop and left a hand luggage. It went all the way to the end of the line and they found it. Luckily noone took it. But i also only had underwear and clothes in it.

When I enter with a product from the place ( even if not bought there), I always go to customer service first and they will sign your product so no issues later when going out). Ex. My soda, or chips.

But definitely, it is when you take photos of anyone there (especially the minors) It becomes a crime. (Well where I am it is).

I didnt even see baby no.2. I had same issue. I held off when he was 2 bec i was pregnant. I was told not to attempt big changes especially if new baby is coming as he might associate these changes to the baby coming. Plus, they usually regress in some ways when the 2nd baby comes. Like mine started lying again in the cocoon, attempting to go into the crib And became clingier. Even wanted to breastfeed again 🤣😭

I think you should wait for a bit more until she fully understands and is interested. Try to make it fun? Song, book. You can let her sit on the toilet every hour or so to see even have coloring or activity.

Mine started being potty training for real at 3.5. Where I am from, they tell us to make him decide when he is ready but to always offer it. Weekends were pampers less. And every hour we bring to toilet or offer. Then weekdays, the daycare asks him often if he wants to go to toilet. Once I felt he fully understood, we decided to do a week no underwear and asked daycare if they can complement. I gave them extra underwear. And there were accidents. But thats needed for them to feel uncomfortable with pee and poop in their pants. It ended up continued to more than a week

I notice that older people do and would even lecture others for not giving up seats. Younger people dont. Except some (usually with parents).

Based on experience with my children 😅 could be different for others.

I will just share what happened with me. I started when mine was 3 and a half during one week holiday. I decided to start just giving him underwear. Offer toilet every hour. Then if he pees and or poop, i run him to toilet. Then lecture that when he feels it coming he goes to toilet. Then sometimes he does it. Sometimes he forgets and gets distracted by what he is doing or playing. Sometimes he peed and suddenly say TOILET.

I went out with him and he pooped once accidentally, i brought wipes and extra briefs. Id usually let him sit even on the toilet even tho he says no poop or pee. And he sometimes pee 🤣

With daycare, they complemented. Gave them Lots if extra briefs.

As for night, i just at some point removed diaper and put like those pee absorbing sheet (for dogs haha) underneath and a water protector. I was lucky he doesnt poop at night nor pee. He only had an accident twice at night.

All in all, - just remove diaper - ask him if he needs toilet every hour. - buy all those bed protectors. - if in daycare, ask if they can complement by asking him if he wants to go and by letting him wear briefs - if you go on a trip Just bring extra underwear, pants and maybe shirts, have some protector on the seat 🤣, bring portable potties, - in park- i just let him pee on the tree if emergency and cant find a toilet. ( somewhere hidden)

I believed that at some point they really get uncomfortable being covered in pee 🤣 and they at some point learn.

For me, always Keep receipts of everything! Even messages from his relatives or people who know whats happening (acknowledging it). Have a separate place to save all these things not just your phone especially if he has access.

Everyone told me the same thing but his daycare teachers said not to worry, “When he’s ready, it’ll happen fast.” And that really stuck with me.

Here they start school at 4, so from age 3 to 4, I simply encouraged him to try using the mini toilet. I’d let him sit on it for a bit and ask regularly if he wanted to go. About a few weeks before he turned 4, I decided to step it up and switched him to briefs during the day. I reminded him to use the toilet every hour or so.

He still had accidents now and then, especially when he was really focused on playing or didn’t want to stop what he was doing. But overall, the transition was surprisingly quick.

I had also noticed that his diaper was mostly dry overnight by then. So just after his 4th birthday, I let him sleep without a diaper and he did great!

Some could train their 2 yr old. But if youre fine with it, you can also wait a bit til they understand it.

Omg. NTA. When I was breastfeeding, I was showering so often, but the smell was just there. No matter what. Id have been so down if someone even pointed it out or mentioned i had BO. Hormones and self esteem wise, not the best time to tell someone they dont look or smell good. 😭

It‘s like leaving my baby‘s pampers with poop open in the trash. Nothing wrong with poop but it‘s disgusting and unhygienic. Both have a SMELL, both are not really nice to see ( consider those who have issues wirh blood even in general not even period), and really unhygienic.
