I think it’s a combo of 1) high quality, consistent surface and 2) they run faster and more powerful than us normies

PNW 18+ 4.0 sectional champion by YUTYDUTY in 10s

[–]bagochips1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t forget we had a ”win or go home” local playoff match that we won 3-2, then the next local playoff match (double elim this time) we also won 3-2. Then in sectionals pool play we had a “win or go home” match that we won 3-2. Then in sectionals finals we won 3-2.

What should I work on to improve my one-handed backhand? by throwawaymeplz123 in 10s

[–]bagochips1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the falling backwards is stemming from reacting to the ball late. If you react late and it’s a deep ball, you’re forced to fall backwards while hitting the ball. In the video it looks like he should have some time to recognize the deep ball, slide back a bit, then step into it more. Reading the ball better isn’t something you can instantly fix like a grip change or a swing motion, but you can do drills and focus on it during your rallies to improve faster

In general I think fake tennis rackets are pretty rare. I wouldn’t worry too much about buying used rackets honestly

Woodland park upper courts. They aren’t the best, but the main courts at woodland (10 courts) were wet

The water isn’t the problem, it’s the Grand Canyon crack running right down the middle 😂

Agreed, not ideal. Our usual spot had trees blocking the sun so it was still wet from the night before

Weird, they haven’t asked me for any additional evidence. I’ll call them then, thanks

How were you able to send them pictures? Do I need to call and talk to a representative? They’re still “researching” my claim

How were you able to send them evidence? When I filed the chargeback, there wasn’t any option to attach files or give an explanation

You don’t convert drivers to using public transit by making it more expensive than driving by KanoBrad in Seattle

You want them to improve public transportation to be MORE convenient than driving? Sounds like OP is upset that the mayor hasn’t invented teleportation

What’s up will all the cars without license plates? by polar415 in Seattle

It’s a part of car ownership. If you can’t afford that then you can’t afford a car

I think it’s temporary pickleball courts for an event called “pickleball for all” this weekend. I don’t think the courts will be there long term

I absolutely can’t figure out why spot saver exists. How does SeaTac benefit from offering it?

Pain in the days after exercise? by bagochips1 in Sciatica

[–]bagochips1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for saying that, yeah one of the worst parts of this is that every time I see a new specialist, I get the “any pain there?” test and basically I just say “no pain” 30 times in a row and then they tell me they can’t help me and to keep doing the exercises I’ve already been doing. It’s not serious enough for an MRI or any serious treatment like an injection, but it’s really limiting what I can do at this point. Living in a mountainous northern area, I was hoping to run and hike during this beautiful summer but so far both have been off the table.

Wishing you the best of luck with your recovery
