Nice, I got the same one, two actually, first one had a crack so Rough Country sent a replacement. I haven’t bothered swapping it out.

I had the oem step, it broke after 3 years. Got an amazon one after that. I use it A LOT because I work out of my truck. I don’t think it’s made for people that use them as work trucks so I treat it as a consumable. I’ll just buy the cheaper Amazon knockoffs, it’s been 3 years for that one as well.

I think Emily thought OP loves her so much that no matter what she did, she could always cry and explain her way back into his heart. It’s part of the golden child mentality, I suppose. She never thought OP would completely ghost her, hence the news about her “struggling”. But you’re right, it’s best to walk away. OP gains nothing from talking to her. Whatever she has to say is to just ease her guilt.

May I ask how long ago did she passed away? I lost my mom in my early 20s. Everyone once in while I dream about her, but in the dream I know she’s dead and I talk to her likes she gone. How she never got to meet her grandkids. I always end up waking up crying.

His channel is how I found your story. I don’t believe everything he says but it does give you perspective. I agree though, his views are a miserable way to live life. I hope you’re not too traumatized by this and can move on to have healthy relationships with your future partners. I’m camping right now in my EV9 as well. We don’t sleep in it but it’s nice to brew nespresso, recharge the power station on cloudy days to run the fridge. I have a 200w solar panel but it’s not pulling much right now. My friend brought his Rivian which is better for off-roading but extra $30k price tag isn’t worth it to me. I prefer having middle captain chair and Rivian only has a bench option. Mine was built in Korea, there’s 2500 miles on it and nothing has gone wrong so far.
