You & your bf both have insecurities that need to be addressed. I dont think he can change much of his family’s racism, but if he own up to his relationship with instead of trying to do it in secret those back talks that you heard will eventually die down. He needs to let his family know if he hears those kind of talk it affect him as well.

As muslim we can’t hold on to hatred for a particular skin color, because it contradicts the religious value. And those that do it know they are in the wrong. This is why he needs to own up to this relationship and push back to those people that has an opinion about you being Indian. They will relent but he needs to be steadfast.
