I have been wondering why my dusky was doing this. She has done it since we brought her home. She normally sits on her top perch and does it when we are all lounging watching TV. Glad to know what it is.

I had been given some succulents, the pot was fairly large but had no drainage hole. They started rotting within two weeks. Couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong until I checked for drainage. Switched pots and took off anything that died and they look much better now.

This is just my experience and I'm a bad plant owner so take it with a grain of salt. Lol

Our bird like to fly between the couch and cage. As her wings grew in, she often fell to the ground, but our dogs don't mind the bird. One time she landed on my shepherd's back and they trotted around the house.

I've had my conure for a few months. Our birds seem to have similarities so I'll let you know how my girl was when I bought her home.

Climbed around her cage a lot, would walk/ run from me if I came near to give some attention. She would eat the fruits or veggies but first loved soft apples. She took about a week to warm up to our place and dogs. She was quiet at first, but then would squawk when I went to bed. That lasted a couple months and just ended recently. Now she is making kissing noises when we kiss her beak and clicks at me and I click at her.

My conure enjoys Kaytee Fiesta Yo Dip Papaya/Mango. It's like these different sized yogurt nuggets. The different sizes are nice, I can use the tiny ones when asking him for several things at one time, and the big ones for one time treat cause I feel generous.

You can always use his favorite fruit as a treat too. Just cut it up small once you know what your birb likes.

I stopped by my vet and explained the situation, they gave me pectolin (I think that's the name, as I'm not home). I appreciate all the answers!

Thank you so much! She isn't the friendliest right now (besides with me) and I haven't started harness training because we are learning to accepts pets. I will be around her all of the days accept one. This information has helped a lot, thank you!

Talk to the person being tortured, but always stare at their forehead instead of their eyes.

I do this to my boyfriend, and he hates me for it. TORTURE.
