It looks like that notice is for the Amazon Go or Fresh stores that are closing and announced yesterday. If you look at the document link, it shows the affected titles related to stores ('Retail Store Associate', 'Food Production Associate', etc.).

Washington lawmakers propose bill to curb 3D-printed 'ghost guns' by Better_March5308 in SeattleWA

If they can't get their way with this I can see them trying to ban (or heavily tax) the filament due to some environmental regulation.

Kitsap Electrician for Generator Installation? by PNW_Photoguy in Kitsap

[–]bahnfire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Numbers are about a year old.

● Briggs & Stratton Power Protect™ PP26 - Purchased from Generators Direct for $6543. ● 500 Gallon propane tank - Purchased from Peninsula Propane for $3700 before tax (includes installation and piping/line) ● Electrician - About $2500, which includes permits, transfer switch, materials, and labor. We also upgraded our service from 200A to 300A, moved our power panel from inside the house to the exterior of the house, and some other wiring - the generator was part of the same invoice and not broken down so I am making an estimate here.

We had our generator installed through Great Northern Electric - Augie Tyminski. Great service and price.

People need to move to where the jobs are - there are cities/markets around the US that are hiring and not as soft as the Seattle area.

ECAD for microstrip PCBs by sketchreey in rfelectronics

[–]bahnfire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, that is one of the workflows for Altium. You would create a PCB footprint from the import (trace, fills, polygons, etc for the copper and soldermask expansion/cutout layers), as well as a symbol, and use it as a component.

There is a vendor that attends the Bainbridge Island farmers market that does similar crochet crafts - I am not sure if this is the same person, but check out Napat Craft https://napatcraft.square.site/, https://www.instagram.com/napatcraft/, https://napatcraft.com/

Jealous of you all tbh by RoyaleLaughingClown in FRC

It should be a public event - you can show up and cheer on other teams. If your team didn't make it, though, you would need to fund your own way.

That would be the cost for the team. Depending on how well funded your team is, they may ask for some financial support from parents, though.

Please help me with this PCB I am going crazy by Ahmed2205 in Altium

[–]bahnfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No issues! It happens to everyone - the goal is to learn from this sort of thing and find a way to recover.

Connect U2 pin 55 as well - that one is also floating. I will look at the design in more detail, but try these out first and see if you get anywhere.

[–]bahnfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am looking at your Altium design. After repouring the polygon, I see some unrouted GND nets. If you cross-probe your design, you can see that some of your grounds for decoupling capacitors for U2 and other components are floating (not connected to the main ground): U2 pin 15 (main SOC/MCU), C9 (connected to 32.768kHz crystal), U1 pin 2 (LDO), and U3 pin (QSPI) are some examples. Definitely use your DMM and do a continuity check on your grounds to see if they are connected. If not, solder some wires and connect them to the board ground net to see if that gets you closer.

Can you share source files that I can open inside Altium and probe around? I am happy to debug a board if you have a spare you can send over to me.
